How to smalltalk or approach with strangers?

My problem is that I've never been smalltalking with people. I can easily approach girls who I know just a little bit. I don't actually know what normal things to talk about with people who I don't know.

Ive try sometimes to practise smalltalk with cashier people. In my country people aren't great small talkers, but they really like it. Have you any tips to improve smalltalk and opening people by just saying something? I dont actually know how and what to talk about to strangers..

Ask about the weather. Make random jokes. It's works. It's just the leadup after that that I have problems with.

I have read so much stuff about talking to girls,how to approach etc. Hmm it is just too much to remember.The thing is,that once you sa hi,you have no idea how the talk is gonna flow afterwards.You just have no control.And trying to remember who,what,when and where,for every aspect of dating sort of makes it all unreal and artificial cuz the PUA wants to know how to approach,how to ask for her number,when to ask for it,when to leave,how to be funny,and the list goes on. So when you have to keep all that in mind,just how in God's name do you get through all of it??? I really need some help here

Anything can be small talk from the weather to a how are you doing and anything situational going on around town or the news..

you know i know all this yet i still cannot approach anyone.i can win a girl over the phone before we meet but,to say approach someone who i see daily,is a tough one for me .
i just cant,and i dont know if i can overcome this.i am suppose to go out tonite but am starting to have my doubts

Get a grip dude. lol You're thinking too much, which I tend to do. But, right now it's counterproductive. I've seen you in a few threads saying you can't can't can't when you CAN CAN CAN.
