1st Night Sarging Tips?

Hi,
Since reading "The Game" and joining this forum, I am becoming obsessed reading post after post (tyrying not to get caught at work) I have been "Out on the Pull" many times using only, what looks I have and my wit, I have fairly good people skills and I can read body language pretty well. It has always been a matter of, "you win some, you loose some", take it on the chin and move on.
Tonight is going to be my first night out where I will be concious of all the things I have read over the last week. My friend is playing a gig in a pub and im going to tag along as a groupie. This will enable me to Sarge while he is playing. I will be on my own while he is playing! (A bit scary) I have however perfected a magic trick called "This and That" using 3 playing cards that I keep handy in my wallet. My plan was to spark up conversation and hit them with my trick.. Im not going to perform directly to the one im after, but more to her pals, then hopefully I will be able to come up with a Neg directed at the HB, I will be looking out for ioi's all the time. Im not fully equiped with enough Game to talk her into me with the mind techniques yet (But thats my goal soon) so I may go away for a bit and then isolate the HB when i see the oppertunity and do that trick where I hold both her hands and tell her to think of a number between 1 and 10. She is supposed to say 7 right? I have never done this but, I hope it works. I think from that I will be able to know if im in!
Does anyone have any tips for me how I can improve on this, Its my first night tonight, Im excited and a bit nervous but Im sure I will be fine after a couple of drinks! Thanks guys.

keep smiling and if u're alone with her try using style's elicting value routine it's very easy ask her what she does then qualify it then disqualify it make her jump through hoops for u

Think fun, not outcome. Nomatter what, u are the prize and she is lucky to have the privelage of having your attention, for the moment ofcourse

Men need to realize that even though girls think we have to approach them and "astound" them... in reality, they need to demonstrate to US that they are different than every other girl in that bar/club/whatever.

my advice: Don't think too hard about it, about each rule and method/technique or trick/move. Just do what you have internalized, and then reflect on that night, deciding if what you needed the most was that rule/trick/technique. This further internalizes the thought, and you become better at it

Maybe it's just me, but i'd be wary of using a routine pulled STRAIGHT out of "the game", because i know a lot of girls who have read it and would be able to see exactly what's going on here.
