Should I hit her up again? Info inside

Alright so there's this very attractive female on campus. Everytime I used to see her, she was with a guy. Word on the street got around that she doesn't like black guys (I'm black). Anyways fast forward to thursday and I finally approach her. I get around to asking her if she really doesn't like black guys and she says something along the lines of "No I love black guys, I have jungle fever!" so we joke around for a bit and I ask for her number and she tells me "I don't have my phone so I'll give it to you on Monday" I was a little skeptical about it but I said okay cool talk to you then. Not too long after that I learn that the guy she is usually with is basically her boyfriend, but she never brought that up. What are everyones thoughts on this, specifically the phone number and boyfriend part? Should I go talk to her again on Monday? Thanks

No offense man but it sounds like she isn't taking you seriously. "I have jungle fever?" what the...? who says that lol. Sounds like she was trying to be nice and make light of the situation. And what girl honestly goes without a phone for a whole week? Really now. And even if her phone was turned off, she still could have given you her number if she was genuinely interested. idk man, it just seems weird to me. Especially since you say she didn't bring up the guy that is seemingly her boyfriend. Perhaps she didn't mention him because she wasn't looking at you in that way, so therefore thought that mentioning him was unnecessary?

I am going to have to agree with Conner.

I know girls that don't date black guys, and girls that don't date white guys. It is what it is. I find it unlikely that someone would tell a complete stranger they just met that they "don't like black guys". There is a lot of the time I am obvious to make a joke (like the jungle fever reference), but when I am trying to be subtle, it is because I have different intentions. It is not very often a woman is that blunt about those kinds of things(although there are some exceptions).

When it comes to the phone thing, I have to say that 90% of the time, people(especially woman) have their phones on them, and 100% of the time, they remember their own phone number.

It also matters how you found out about her "boyfriend". If she had someone she knew tell you, that means she is not interested in you. If you find out in a "matter of fact" sense, that is different. She may not be throwing up a red flag just yet.

Either way, I think you may need to work on some tactics, and ease it on her. Who knows, this girl could be your new project(I think you should try, let me know if you do). Play this game skillfully, and don't even mention the boyfriend(this would reveal your insecurities and intentions). Get her to think that you are interesting and busy. Make her think she would be fortunate to get to chill with you.

I think if you do this right, you will help your self, not just with her, but with her cute friends.

I would have never asked her if she really doesn't like black guys. I would have dove rite in to gaming her cuz maybe your not the typical black guy, or typical guy period since u know and are learning the pickup game. This girls a goner man. Next time just approach girls with "assumed attraction" in mind.

Yeah man anytime. I'm mixed race and pretty much pass for black, and I've bedded some girls that otherwise would have never thought they'd sleep with a black guy.
