wing has crazy AA any helpful tips?

Ok, so my friend/wing as Super crazy aa. He is 20 and a virgin. i have taken him to a club before, it was like he was a deer in the headlights. He could not open any sets (rather he was too afraid to try) Even when i opened the set for him, dhv him, you know every thing a wings supposed to do, and he still F-ed it up.

I have tried to drill pua stuff and given him ,so many pep talks. I can't get threw to him

Can any one give me some tips to help/inspire him?

Shameless self promotion I know, but did you read my Approach Anxiety Help thread? Its in this forum. There's little exercise in there that I used, and have used with some success on my friends to help them with their aa. If that doesn't help you're going to need to ween him into it. Obviously, we've established that attractive women are far outside his Comfort zone, and that trying to bulldoze his AA just makes him clam up. So we're gonna need to finesse his comfort zone until it does encompass attractive women. Find out who he is comfortable talking with and start there, maybe unattractive girls, even guys, just some people he can talk with to get the social juices flowing. From there just step it up in increments. By your description I'm guessing he hasn't had much practice has he? If thats the case, his approach anxiety may be compounded by all the information he's trying to process. His mind hasn't learned to efficiently process everything involved with the game. Just like an overloaded PC, he freezes. Get him in a less stressful situation and let him nail down the basic there. At least then he'll have his bases covered and you can work his AA down from there.

yea thanks ill read it and relay the info to him. i was thinking of taking him to the mall, hopefully day game will be less intimating for him. maybe try to get him to talk to some HB 6-7s.

Just keep taking him out. Experience in-field is huge, build momentum. I say start him with inner game. Then some David Wygant to be able to converse with women. Just be supportive of him and know it will not happen over night.

Give him some canned lines to say and then maybe a follow up story and send him to various girls. Tell him to ask a group of girls an opinion "hey if a girl friends me on facebook the day after we meet, what does that mean" and then say how that happened with a girl at a party or something. This might make him feel confident since he is telling a story that makes him look good.

But the point is to give him a line. Beginners need something solid, something short and simple, something fixed they can latch on to. You can't expect him to be creative or come up with something o the spot, just give him the basic ABCs until he starts to improve.

Also, don't be afraid to go out by yourself every now and then. It is good practice to sarge without a wing from time and time as it forces you to be extra social, since you can't just rely on your wing.
