Anyone work as a bartender?

Hey all,

I just got a job as a bartender, so I get to interact with a lot of attractive people, but mainly just doing their drinks.

Anybody have experience working as a bartender? Good ways of moving from service-industry pleasantries to attracting, flirting, etc when I only have a minute window each time the girl buys a drink.

Any advice maintaining interest while I'm working and there off amongst the herd of horny guys?

Other insights would be appreciated.

well uhh lets say you want to open the chick. being the bartender you already have high value and control. second lets say you bring the stuff in front of her and try to slow down the making of the drink to talk to her. then you can always say, hey come back later and maybe ill think of hooking you up. future projection will allow you to tell her to come back to have a longer interaction later in the night to maybe even meet up for drinks or breakfast after your shift. then when your off you have that natural social value of working there and knowing everybody. this is pretty much your new ground for laying game

One of my best friends works as a bartender and he gets more one night stands then almost anyone I know. Since he works until 4:00am he really only gets the girls who are there for "last call" but none the less, a little flirting will go a long way. And the best part is since he's working, he doesn't need to talk her up for a few hours. He can just walk away from her and come back any time he wants.

I'm sure you'll get the swing of things pretty quickly once you are more used to your job.
