When she says 'What do I need to do?'

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new to this, but I've been working on my Approach Anxiety and starting to make headway with talking to girls and starting to flirt with them. A couple of times they have said something though that I'm having trouble with coming up with a good answer for:

Last week in a bar, a girl next to me at the bar asked me to buy her a drink. Of course I said, 'I don't just buy drinks for every random girl at the bar' or some such. She came back with 'What do I need to do?'

Second scenario, I play in a band, at the gig I noticed a couple of girls watching us set up. Just before we were due on they moved closer to the stage, so I went over to chat ("Have you moved for a better view " etc.). In the break I was talking to them again and one of them said about being 'groupies', so I joked that there was a queue for the job of chief groupie- but that there were probably ways she could move up more quickly. Her response was "what might that be then?"

On both these occasions I then stumbled, I hadn't really got a good comeback for such a direct question - is this a sh1t test? Or an ioi? - are they expecting me to come back with something directly sexual? Or should I say something like "well that's for you to experiment and find out?"

What do you guys think? What would you say in response to this sort of direct question?

Your best bet is to answer a question with a question. "what might that be then?" you might say "well, what do YOU have in mind" big smile...

You need to work on being more witty. With the first girl when she asked , What do I need to do? You should have answered "Find out" with a big smile and start teasing her.

I'm in my mid 30s now, but even after a few months of reading stuff and trying out, I'm starting to see results with some cracking chicks Thanks again!

Hehe, I do look a lot younger than my years (look more like late 20s). I've just always been crap with women, but stumbled upon David DeAngelo while randomly browsing last year. Read a load of stuff and decided to try it out (even though I was a bit skeptical) - bugger me, it actually works! I'm now starting to Attract Girls in their 20s Still got a long way to go, but jeez even *talking* to these girls was a major step forward for me.

Well, I did think of something, trying for the c/f approach what I actually said to the first girl was "Well I've got a pile of ironing that needs doing..." . It didn't go down too well though

Personally I would have gone with something like: "I can't just tell you, that would be too easy"
