i was wondering what the difference between talking and flirting is?

or is talking to a girl automatically flirting?

I don't even know where to begin this question is so noob...

Leil lowndes wrote a good book "how to make anyone fall in love with you". Note that this book is 100% beginner AFC stuff, much of it you will throw away when you learn real game, but it will certainly help you answer this question

Talking is normal conversation like talking to your best friend, pal or buddy and family, flirting is touching, communicating on a sexual level,heavy eye contact ,tons of Kino , sexual innuendos

If a girl is touching you. Asking you A LOT of questions. Teases you a lot, and she is giving you ioi's that is flirting....

Lowndes discusses very simple stuff, see, connect, approach, flirt, find commonalities

By "real game" I mean the more formal steps, using proper openers, giving false time constraints, teasing, negs, disqualifying yourself from your target, role reversal

Sarcasm is difficult to detect over the Internet. I seriously meant that in a "what do you mean?" sense. I figured that knowing how to flirt with a girl is an actual part real game. Honestly, I know about everything you just mentioned but I do have trouble figuring out exactly when to do what and how to transition. Because of that, I tend to open and then lose control of the conversation.

That is a better question. Someone put a good post up on a list of IOIs. Look for it and review it to help understand indications of your progress

In general you flirt or reward a girl with Kino / move forward with numbers after SHE has done something of value (not when you have) in this way you reinforce the sense that you are interested in her because she is cool / smart / funny and not just for the heck of it
