What is stopping you from meeting and attracting an amazing girlfriend?

Post here... what you think is stopping you from finding the perfect girl to be your girlfriend.

something that is stopping me from getting as much from this site as i could is the bloody essays dudes keep writing. when i go through sh1t from strangers i just want to skim over it and then if something develops from there, great!

could that be what is happening when some of the blokes go out looking for a girl??? you aint investing too much at the beginning?? no?

i like to start with fairly small stuff and not dump too much baggage on them. i have a sort of girlfriend at present but we still hardly know each each other. she knows i am seeing other girls and i dont think she would want to be with me if i was giving too much to her

-I don't really know what to say when asking a girl out
-In the odd event I do get a girl to go out with me, I don't really know how to transition from dating to something more serious
-I have absolutely no clue as to whether or not a girl finds me attractive (Recently I was at a restaurant with some friends and after we left my friends asked my why I snubbed hot waitress who was hitting on me. The sad truth is that I had no idea she was until my friends told me (and it was too late))
-I have an anxiety in approaching women I can't fix because I don't know where it lies. I strongly believe I am good looking, intelligent, and rich enough to attract the kind of women I desire and yet I can't, what else is there that I'm missing?

This is my first post and these are the issues I'm trying to resolve here.

waitresses are a hard pick up to make anyway as they have many constraints as to what can be done there. they are there to work and make money from us. we are not supposed to cross certain lines when at a restaurant or cafe. even at a bar it is very subjective... also chicks working in hospitality often dont have that high self esteem. it is a pretty low status job

i believe i am intelligent and good looking too and that is not enough. self esteem and confidence can be high at times yet i need to keep working on myself and my S&R value. even alone i must keep attending to myself. women like a man who can maintain himself whether he has support or not. it shows strength.

my strength and values are something i try to keep showing that i maintain even when going through emotionally or financially low times

i know on here i seem really good at what i do but the thing that still somewhat holds me back is the first of the Escalation. the first kiss is usual my killer. haha other than that i run game pretty well and escalate well. i am fun and differ. random and adventurous. but i also stay alpha other than among my group of poker dealers cause im the young one so i just keep up with the bullsh1t but can never hold the complete alpha status cause some of these guys are just complete d1cks and try to fight when i steal it. I personally feel the reason i dont have a girl is cause i decided to keep my standards really high and i can sometimes kill the attraction early cause the first jump .lately i have been practicing by just jumping in and submerging myself in that first jump so i get used to it or by using ways to dull the anixety and make it easier on myself.

well before I became interested in pickup which was last week. The only reason that held me back was I typically dont try to get women, they usually kinda fall in my lap (pun intended). But now just learning these skills and perfecting them is the only reason. I do have a chick whom we have strong mutual chmistry but I'm moving so not to much commitment on my part!

i like the sound of it amino2. its good to watch ones own game and how it moves... how does energy move where i am involved? if you got your own routines and game etc... then yeah build on it and refine. use whatever management models you are familiar with. think how you might like to develop yourself.

we are never compleat in our skill sets

For me its a couple of things. Being on the shorter side is one. I get rejected alot due to my height (5'7). Another is that I have tried all these so called carnival tricks (PUA stuff - cold reading, MM,ect) and after thousands of sets that has not worked...I have spent a fortune on this stuff and I still cant get dates,ect...its really frustrating...lol...

I actually got this in my email this morning - its the new Brad Jackson product? I took it. It was really not very specific - but it told me to escalate more - which I do or try anyway when I can so I don't know...lol..
