What's wrong with a cat?

I was prowling around on the articles, or was it just the Q&A, I dunno, but I saw someone say that having a pet cat is a serious mistake. Ok, most girls seem to like dogs, but what's wrong with a cat? I thought having no pet is a major mistake...demonstrat ing emotional sterility and a complete lack of nuturing ability. Any advice?

Let me tell you why I hate cats (exception are ragdolls). Cats seem to think that they're the master in the relationship. They come and go as the please. They don't obey commands. When you take interest in a cat it looks at you as if to say "what do you want now?"

I draw a parallelism between this and how AFC's treat women.

Dogs are much better. They're happy all the time, they like the play, they follow commands, they're happy

I recently had an experience with an HB9 that I've been gaming. She is a cat lover and we had been talking about cats. Of course I have been adding that there are so few "kitty people" around and its amazing that we met and that we're both cat lovers. She's like "oh, yeah, you're so right". We'd been sending kitty pix to each other by phone and doing the "aw, how cute" texting game in response. It was all going well. The problem was that she had expectations of my cat being this affectionate lap cat. When the HB9 came over, my cat pretty much avoided her = unmet expectations, and now my HB9 is very disappointed. Not good. I'm sure if I had a dog things would have been different.

My dog is not a good example... but the snakes and tarantulas always bring out some sort of reaction.

im totally not a cat person. haha i liked my old cat but personally i like dogs, they are very playful and loving even when u have to beat them for pissing on the rug. little bastards!

I totally get what you're talkin bout. For some reason people think youre some kinda cat freak for having one cat. Dog owners never get that reaction. Your best bet is to stay away from ownin a cat until you've caught your prey in your web of deceit lol
