I went on a date with this girl tonight, and it's weird because it was indirectly not a date because I said I'd take her out to dinner for her birthday. I have seen her once in my life and complete chance I asked her out to dinner and she said yes...

Took her to a nice restaurant and we just pretty much talked about a lot of getting to know you stuff (family, self goals, morals), and she was comfortable enough to even tell me her weight, her past problems, her trust issues and stuff about a guy who likes her from europe. I told her in general, in a relationship setting, I'd never lie to her and be very trusting and give her space.

Some noteable quotes she said were:
"like I could have declined you today, but I like to give people an opportunity, because things unexpectly come up sometimes"
"we could share an appetizer if you wish.."

I feel it was a date, but because it wasn't it was a little awkward to share stuff and start opening up to each other.

I decided not to kiss her or anything, just a simply hug when I dropped her off. Sh's down to earth and she's very approach able, I'm just not sure if tonight was a date? and what's my next move. I didn't really game much tonight, because she said she knows a lot of pick up artists, so I want to be more original, I was funny for sure but more held back...
