I fear I have oneitis..need some advice please

Hey guys I know its a wall of text but PLEASE help

I think I may have oneitis...I started falling for this girl at school and I was/am getting lots of ioi's

After a week or two of building up Comfort with her I mustered up the balls to ask her out...well the week I was going to ask her out she told me she just started dating this guy (before I asked her out, this also happened 2-3 weeks ago)

Well over the last 3-4 days we've been hanging out alot 2-4 hours a day after school...her BF has been freaking out and acting like an AFC and pissing her off..but she seems to like this guy, but I KNOW she has feelings for me. (she wanted to hang out with me this weekend at my place)

We spoke today and the convo went like this (convo went on well before and well after)

ME: was cleaning my room, trying to find some motivation to continue, I wanna go out and do something but dunno what!

Her: hmmmm, you should go out and get a gf so u can fark all the time haahah

ME: thats a good idea lmao, i need to go out and meet some more people, I know to many dirty girls i wouldnt touch with a 15ft poll

how sweeettttt, <3 youd be a great boyfriend u just needa find a good one like me whos fantastic and loving at the same time, YEEEEPPP and doesnt have a bf cause then ur in trouble hahaha

(she wrote this out within seconds...and took a minute to write "and doesnt have a bf blah blah blah")

me: not gunna lie, was gunna ask you out on a date the week u told me u had a bf

Well she started blushing apparently afterwards and kinda let me down softly but also with a hint that she still wants to be there...she wanted to come over saturday but changed it to Sunday (happened at very start of convo so i didnt weird her out) because her BF asked her to go to the zoo and (she apperently forgot) I think she blew me off.

I really dont know what to do... Is she playing me? Should I just say to hell with you and move on? or what? god i hate this...we really click..4-5 hours with her feels like 10-30 minutes...

I need help!

since she has a bf already, what she would seek as a best case scenario is if you were the guy willing to wait out this storm, be the nice guy. as though the air was you were the guy shes meant for, but she needed time to truly realize that, like the movie forest gump or something. every relationship will have a tense moment, every day has a chance, you just need to wait for it to come... and show your colors when the time is right

Yea I spoke to her more last night. As I was talking to her I said "it's true, all the good girls are taken"

Well now that she basically knows how I feel..I'm kinda Hoping she will relay this to her BF, he will become even more tense and controlling when ever we are out together...she hates control freaks...it got to the point where she more or less dragged me to his place so he could meet me (his idea) and I dont think that calmed him down at all, probably did the opposite. Quite possibly most awkward moment of my life, she said the exact same thing.

He has insecurities and I've pointed that out to her..good idea or bad idea?

The thing that kinda made my heart sink was she said at 1 point "I Really like you as a friend" but when shes with her BF she talks about me often and he doesn't like that.

She's comming up to my place this weekend, she wants her BF to pick her up and drop her off at my place (so he'll calm down) but I kinda refused, told her I'd be near her place after work and I'm heading back down later at night to get something done (need ideas, it's an hour drive to her place Lmfao)...I'd rather put strain on him and keep him tense till he breaks

Thinking of asking her to a haunted amusement park next weekend...good idea or bad idea?

I have a solid excuse to ask her out, my sister is going with a date, so I would like to go but don't wanna be the third wheel.

I think ur stuck in friend zone. The 1st signal was that she got a BF during the same time u were gaming her. 2) She used the word SWEET to describe you. I know this sounds silly bu this is a word used towards a friend and 3)She told u she liked u as a friend.

I think she finds u attractive to SOME degree but not enough to leave her BF. You need to drop her and go find another girl and in the meantime she'll get jealous. Good luck bro

Yeah. The best way to get over oneitis is to go out and game 10 other girls. I think that this is one to leave alone for now.

I was thinking the same thing...maybe go out and find another girl, MAYBE just temp. Then semi freeze her out in hopes she will come back..if not improvise, adapt, overcome.

She is attracted to the fearless wild side of me, skydiving white water rafting bungee jumping etc. That and the adventurous side, when she comes over Sunday was Gunna bring her kayaking up a river near my place...if it's not raining or to cold.

Tonight I'll be going out playing poker and maybe to the bar after, Gunna try some bar game.

I'm new to that so any tips appreciated.

Have you tried the online dating sites? If you live in a major metro area, it's fairly easy to bang of quickie dates from there and hopefully make you seem not so available (a challenge)...after all let's face it: maybe the big thing here is that SHE is not so available (a challenge)?

I've tried online dating..to an extent. Haven't gone on any dates. Was chatting with this 1 girl back and forth then suddenly she stopped responding (4th or 5th message) should I have asked her out sooner/#?
