Default The One That Got Away

This is my current situation that I need some advice on...

A few months back I met a girl. Incredibly cute, very smart, and very similar interests as me. I have never met a woman who has had as much in common with me. I blew it though. We hung out, but due to circumstance(i.e. ex-girlfriend break-up) I neglected to put forth effort to her. I take full responsibility for this.

She now has a boyfriend, but I think it is very "temporary". She is NOT a slut by any means, but I think that she is kind of afraid of being alone(hence the boyfriend).

She still keeps in contact with me, and I think she has been waiting for me to make a move for the past 6 or 7 months.

I have to emphasize that I do no think she is a slut(although I have been wrong before). She is smart, and likes everything I do. She can hold up her end of the conversation(which is what I find most appealing).

I have been gone for a few months, and want to return home with a game plan. I want to play my cards perfectly.

My question is, what can I do? Should work on a good rapport with her? Anything specific?

I do not intend on breaking them up(although I wouldn't be sad if they did), but I think she is right for me, and I think I am right for her.

I would appreciate all input. Thanks.

-Joe

First, I say forget about building rapport, thats already done, don't need no more of that, you have common interests and have known each other for some time. Boyfriends are always temporary, until she's married the game is still on. I think its time to amplify the attraction. Ratchet it up man. Do you have her on Facbook? I once got a girl good when I posted on her page a quote that went like this "I hate the stars at night, because I see the same ones you do, but without you" Works great since your out of town. I'd start flirting with her ASAP and making my intent known. I have used lines like, " you know, I'm pretty available these days, in case you were wondering" Say it in a lighthearted manner. Sometimes I'd add "cuz I'd hate for you to torture yourself over the thought of not having me in your life". So basically dude, its F*CKIN GO TIME!
