Met in club, rookie dater

Realised my essay was huge.

Any tips on going on to date someone you 'got to know' in a bar? My particular situation is a bit unusual in that we spoke and got to know each other a considerable amount rather than just drunkenly snogging (obviously happened as well). Reading around I see suggestions of going back to basics on the 'first date' in terms of keno ie don't just jump in - although I feel the first date has already happened (I've not learned so much about anyone before in a sober environment.. we got on pretty well).

The reason I ask is that I have a habbit of pulling girls in clubs and such but have never had the desire to nor tried taking it further than the dancefloor and just have no clue what I should be thinking going into the next step.
