Default Can someone analyze her FB update? Women love their FB attention.

My ex always post these faux-inspirational bullshit, you know what I mean, shit from Taylor Swift songs and other garbage so this is nothing new.

We've been broken up after a heated argument for exactly 2 weeks now and I see this:

    ‎....Soooo Happy!!!

I wanted to call her and talk today, but now this comment throws me off. Its almost like shes begging me to, or the total opposite trying to scare me off. Anyone know how their minds think?

From my own recent personal experience, it's nothing more than an attempt to get you torqued out of shape & irritate you.

The best bet is to totally ignore it & not let on that you even noticed it.
    Really.

My ex did the very same thing... (song lyrics, quotes, pictures, etc....) It's a desperate cry for attention & sympathy from her friends, and only makes her look needy & bitter.

All you need to do is just focus on "doin' your own thang" & living your life.
Keep a positive attitude & don't get sucked into games like that.

What helped me was, opening a blank document or sending an email to myself & venting... saying whatever I felt like saying, just to get it out.

That way I felt better, AND nobody else had to be subjected to the negative diatribe & ridiculous ranting.

    LOL!

And this is why I no longer participate in Facebook.

And this is why I would not date a girl who is a "journalist" on her facebook. Nothing but trouble......dont need my ass plastered over facebook.

Dont associate yourself with such mind games, and be strong and endorse patience anytime you get upset reading what she posts.

    Haha thanks for the insight.

There's now a cover photo (like a banner) "You are my happy place" with a picture of a guy holding a girl.

God knows what that means, found someone new in 2 weeks really? lol

She's really laying it on thick haha!

It's pretty typical actually. (And I'll admit... I spent a couple weeks getting my digs in too, when my ex & I split 6 months ago).

But... when a girl "friend" messaged me & told me that my "bitterness wasn't very becoming of me" it got my attention & I realized she was right.

All the proverbial mud-slinging definitely didn't help me attract other women.

So ignoring her crap & just posting about how genuinely awesome other things were (and totally unrelated to "relationships") It gave me more social proof, AND... that "Alpha" vibe began to project.

But I know when girls pull that sort of garbage, it CAN hit a nerve.
I eventually ended up blocking her and all her friends.
    Problem solved.

    Haha the facebook status's

"Don't take me for granted, unlike others I'm not afraid to walk away."

"Just because you miss someone doesn't mean you want them back in your life. Missing is a part of moving on."

"I want to be someone's favorite hello and hardest goodbye"

etc. etc... she posted all of these on her facebook it's nothing just let it go

She is trying to prove to herself that she is over it. While going through my breakup my slogan was "Actions speak louder than words".

My ex would tell mutual friends "I am having the time of my life". People don't just say that. It's obvious that she is struggling with the no contact in your case and in mine.

I'm fine with not getting my ex back. Subconsciously, I think I just wanted to know that she was struggling like I was and she definitely was. My ex has lost the respect of most of my mutual friends and I credit myself by taking the high road and not giving in to her bullshit.

I feel like a new man. More confident and outgoing. These past few months have been a real test of my character but I wouldn't take it back. I feel much stronger than the person I was before. I hope this helps. Keep the high road and don't give in. You can find better than her. Take joy in those posts, because they obviously don't mean what they state.
