Default Do I have the gist of recovering ex girlfriends right?

From what I'm reading here it appears to be a two birds with one stone approach: you getting over it for your own sake activates her 6th sense that you've moved on and then she will want you again

I've always been the type to let women approach me, I'm the catch in the room so I feel as though I don't need to try to impress anyone. I'm socially active but I never go out of my way to open sets or rekindle relationships

Anyways there is a girl that may or may not have been the one that got away, and I'm basically wondering if getting a second chance is something that may never come. I have strong doubts that I'm AFCing or having one-itis on this as I've been out with many girls since. However the reason for the split was my confidence plummeted for about a month straight because I got laid off in a really bogus way completely out of my control and I beat myself up - not sure if I can ever even recover that attraction loss. She hasn't talked to me in months, probably because in my moment of despair I pleaded for her

I'm pretty disappointed how many people have viewed this and have taken no time to write anything, in addition to my introductory thread

Seems as if this is a dead forum

I'ts not a dead forum. I have had great advice from some really knowledgeable people on here. It's after the holidays and im sure the pros are all busy.

But from my understand is that yes, you are correct. You want to DO YOU and when she sees how fun you are having without her, it sparks her interest.

Think of it like little kids playing at a playground. One kid plays with a ball then gets tired of it and leaves it on the ground. When that kid sees other kids playing with that same ball and having fun, that kid wants that ball again. Why? Because now that kid sees it as valuable.

Dating is the same way. My ex told me that she got "bored in our relationship." Now each time she sees me out having a farking blast at a club with other friends and girls, she takes notice. I see it in her eyes and her reactions when she walks by.

But you gotta do YOU before you do you with anyone else. You said you lost her because you lost your confidence. Well join a gym, make a bunch of new friends and go on a few dates with other chicks. Bring that confidence back to the level she remembers AND THEN SOME. Stop being the ball on the ground, go out and have fun.

    She will notice.
