Me: You tell me... but if you are let me know. You can be like Brain and I'll be pinky. I wouldn't contribute to your effort but at least you'll laugh at my jokes.
Her: Hahahaha you caught me. I am trying to conquer the world.

That was the last message. I don't know what to say. Should I continue or change the subject to something else. I'm really not quite sure how to proceed to the next step. Where do i go from making the opening discussion and once it goes dry?

You can phase out the Opener. In you case, you were talking about Pinky And The Brain. Go for "Stewie". Then talk about how random Family Guy is. Then say you had a friend who was that random, then say a funny story, bla bla.

I think the complimenting is not the issue. It's the compliment I used. Thought later I shouldve complimented on her style, hair, or something that males her think well he liked my hair... Etc but he didn't actually call me cute. Fortunately it worked either way. Convo still going strong. Since I've transitioned to next step. Just need to Number Close.
