Picking up women on Facebook help

Ok so I've never used facebook for pickup or game or anything before but I'm kinda in that situation now and could use some advice.

About a month ago I was partying at my boy's place for the night and ended up staying there. Met this really cool HB8 there and we hooked up and shared a couch for the night .

Call this an AFC excuse if you will, but I had just gotten out of a 2 year LTR a week or two before and had no intentions on getting numbers yet, so I didn't even try.

Last night, I saw her name on my friend's facebook news feed thing and added her. I sent a message with it saying that I was recently at x in y and it made me think of you, was that one that you worked at? (based on rapport from convo from the night we met)

She accepted the friend request within 10 seconds, but didn't reply to the message. I don't use facebook that much, so I don't know the etiquette for these things. Should I have added first then sent a normal message? Should I send another if she doesn't answer in a few days?

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

Either she read your message and forgot to reply. Lots of people spam facebook so it's easy for a message to get lost in the clutter. Or she's not interested.

Either way facebook has a chat that you can use to send instant messages to people online. Next time you catch her online send her a message that way.

I have to agree with this. Messages get read and then forgotten on facebook, especially if it's a hot girl. There are numerous times I will message a girl on a social site and then a few days/ a week later I get a message back. It isn't that she forgot you, it's just she overlooked it.
It isn't a big thing, or deal, or anything you should start to worry about.

She did hook up with you and you shared a couch together. If I were you, I would of thrown that into the message to joke around. Make her remember that night a bit more than she may or may not have wanted to remember it.

You were right, she did respond eventually. In the future, I'll wait at least a day before asking for advice. lol

ehh. she just gave a short answer then didn't respond to two other messages. will try to hit her up on facebook chat if ever catch her on, dont wanna look desperate though

Yeah, typical. Women, especially online, are extremely fickle. Needless to say, it's tough to hold their attention for long. I would definitely turn to im now.
