PUA while playing the host

I met an HB8 at a friend's birthday party on Friday. The plan was to eat at a restaurant and then go to a club down the street. I played solid game during dinner, and was planning on a kiss close at the club. When we were leaving the restaurant, though, she pulls up next to me and says she's not going to the club but had fun talking to me. This threw my game off (I know, I know), and all I could say was "Ya, I had fun. Drive safe," and that was the end of it.

Doing the only thing I could think of, the next day I asked my friend to invite the HB8 to my place the next time I cooked dinner for people. (I love to cook, and every Monday I have 6-10 people come over to my place for dinner and to watch Heroes). Well, the HB8 came over last night.

Here's my issue....how does one play the game when not only hosting a party, but hosting a party full of pothead guys who just want to play video games, watch TV and eat?

I actually did manage to talk to her throughout the night, and I number closed while I walked her out (not my strongest close either), but I got The Vibe from her that I was not playing solid game, and I feel the atmosphere had a huge amount of influence on that. Thoughts?

Since you have her number, here is what I would do:

Try to build up some attraction through txt game. If you can't talk her into meeting you alone, make sure that the next time you see her, you are not in charge of the group, then hopefully, you will have built up enough attraction over txt game, that you can easily Isolate her enough to really start your game. One helpful technique, would be to develop some sort of little inside joke, or pet nickname for her, over txt. That way, you have a trigger that you can use, to bring her into a one-on-one conversation. Even better, you can lean over and whisper it into her ear, and immediately grab her attention.

Obviously, this doesn't answer you larger question. I don't think you can ever really game a specific woman very effectively, while playing host to a large group. However, while you host the group, you have all kinds of opportunity to dhv yourself, and show that you are a fun guy, which counts for a lot. Later, you are less likely to run into near as much resistance when you want to hang out with one of the women solo.

Hmm, I like it. I'm always debating whether or not to use the text game. Once I start a text system with someone, I feel like transitioning to phone is always trickier. But I just texted her (it's been 36+ hours since I got the number). I'll let you know how it goes.
