Re-Name her.

Don't do this in South Texas, that's my place.

I've been doing this thing the last 2 weeks, when I meet a women I re-name her. An example, I was in Germany last weekend, and I met a girl named sophia or sophi or something like that. I told her "I'm not going to call you that, your parents farked up, you're a Lisa".

And she thinks I'm weird, I ignore her and game her friends a bit, then when I talk to her I start it with "OK LISA....." by the end up the night, we have a secret thing. If shes talking to someone, I walk up and say "Hey Lisa introduce me" and her friends are like "Lisa, wtf!" and then we smile at each other, we have a secret thing.

Sometimes a women will say "No im not" the times this has happened, I've said fine, then what are you? and they almost always say "I dont know" and then I said "Ok, Lisa".

I never do this until well after the hook, this alone is a good reason to not introduce yourself or ask anyones name cause she says "What's your name?" And I say "Wow! Hold on, I don't even know you, who are you?" And she tells me her name and I will say "No, I mean really, not your name, who ARE you?" and then shes like "blah blah, I dont know, horses, blah blah, techno" and I say, "you are clearly a Lisa"

But I enjoy gaming the whole group, so I end up renaming everyone, if your game is tight enough, it will stick, and I usually go with super hero names like "Magic, Ranger, Sex Ninja or SN for short" and so on. BTW <- those are some that I actually did use this weekend.

I have never used this in a positive sense, but I have found that it is an excellent way of negging someone. If they are being grumpy, you might call her. "Ms. Pouty face" once.

I will have to try it in your context.

lol, that's an interesting one. I haven't tried it yet. Maybe I should try it on the next girl I meet xD

I like your method a little bit better than my own.


i use it in reverse. when i open start talking and introduce myself. and before they get to speak i go with " hang on.... ou look like a Melissa?" then when she says no im so and so. i still go with i think ill stilll call you Melissa, and smile. and or with a light touch.

i think its very effective because it creates a light context to start your set with.
and if she is rude about it, ill ether neg or walk.

I had a couple of experiences re-naming a girl. Like when I was introduced to this girl. I called her "Sophie" instead of her real name. Based on my experiences, so far, there is a positive response in renaming a girl. Although, there might be circumstances she might not like it. It's another way of negging her lightly.

Yeah, if the girl gets majorly offended, then she's obviously not fun. Even if she is hot, there's no point to walking on egg shells for the next hour or so.

Good take on the nicknames thing. I know I personally can always easily come up with another 'normal' name for someone just based on how they look. Also, once you've been calling her her fake name for a while, you could reward and surprise her by using her real name for once. I can see a woman getting a little hot & bothered if you did that right time. As much fun as a fake name is women, and people in general, love to hear you say their name. If she says something about it you could say 'don't get used to it (fake name)'
