Default Facebook Game - It's Time We Do This

Alright guys, it's time we break this down to a science. Facebook is a way of life that's not going away, and we need to develop solid game for using it. In the past three weeks I've gotten more "Facebook" closes than number closes. A girl says "here's my name, find me on Facebook," and all future interactions are based off of that instead of a number.

So what do we think? I'm experimenting with a few things right now, from planning events on Facebook and inviting them, to commenting on photos, to just tagging them in photos from the night we met. I managed to pull off a pretty successful few flirts through commenting on status updates too.

My big problem, though, is figuring out how to initiate a conversation. There's three ways to do it on Facebook.

1) Sending a message (the email kind). To me, this just feels weird. Whenever people send me these things, I personally always feel like they had something to say, but didn't want everyone seeing it on my wall. That makes me feel weird, and I'd assume an HB would feel the same way.

2) Posting something on their wall. This makes more sense than the previous one, except it's completely public, so you're opening yourself up to other people reading it, commenting on it and potentially amoging you.

3) Chat. This just takes way too much time and feels like stalking if you're waiting for someone to come online.

So how do we turn Facebook into something that we can all use? And what should we have on our profiles/pictures? Pics of you with more girls, no girls, out having fun, out working (dhv), or what?

And if Facebook is a poor decision, what is the best way to transition into a phone number from someone you met in person and only have their Facebook info? (and no, using the phone number on their profile is definitely not acceptable).

I use face book heavily, I farking love this thing. I personally make them seek me out, I say "Find me on face book, I might even add you" and that's it. I have a picture of myself right now with another woman's legs wrapped around my neck, shes taking the photo, I even tagged her legs.

I never chase them, me and my bros have a code, when someone askes an open ended question, we spot each other. We get them talking in the comment thing, and if I decide to, and I sometimes do, not always, I even respond to their comments. I get them to message me. And it works.

I bet some guys have some other good advices as well.

If you say, "I am the man!" and no one says anything, you aren't, if 50 guys say "Yea dude, that rocked last night!" you really are the man. She wants the man, not the boy, not the girl.

Instinct...so you never add the girls? You make them add you? I like it. You've had a pretty good success rate with this?

I like the open ended thing, and actually have tested out some opinion openers in my Facebook status. The opinion statuses end up getting the most responses, which reminds me a lot of the field.

So how do you transition from a comment on a status to a message? You're talking about the email like messages, right?

I like the idea of the bro code. It's like having a bunch of wingmen on Facebook with you. If anyone wants to add me and do the same thing for each other, feel free. Here's the link.

Reposted from Facebook:

I'm running into a situation now. Met a girl at a concert Sunday, but it was too loud to get her number, and I had to leave early. Her friend had my number, so I literally pointed at her friend, then her and made the "call me" thing with my hand. She smiled and nodded and I took off.

The next day I added her on Facebook. Since then I haven't talked to her, but I invited her to a party I'm throwing at my place. I did not send her a special invite. Should I? Her friend is also coming to the party.

Instinct. Copy the whole conversation, and put it into Microsoft Word. Hit ctrl+f, then click the replace tab. This will replace the person's name throughout the entire conversation to whatever you want it to be, so no one will know who you're talking to.

I'd love to see the convo.

THIS makes me want to make a private forum that is exclusive for puaforums members... I will eventually but this is the perfect use case for private forums.

I'm interested too. A lot of the girls I'm meeting are all pointing to facebook. It used to be email address but now facebook is the way to go. I don't have a pic, my profile is pretty dead and I've got some pictures I'm not very proud of from way back. I need some pointers on how to refresh everything.

I'll show ya my pic later this week. I basically have a woman's legs wrapped around my shoulders, and shes taking the pic. I dared myself to use that to pic up HB, and I was surprised when it worked. It actually was a pretty big learning moment for me in pick up.
