just a cool example, I was in a car accident a few years back I broke my neck and had to wear a neckbrace, it was my first year of university and I wasn't going to not party because of a neckbrace!
I went to a few parties, my hair was terrible as I couldnt get a haircut, i lost about 8-10lbs of muscle mass and i'm short, but i swear to god that first month of school with the neckbrace at a party or in class, I had so many girls asking me what happened and if I had a cell, lol, so thats an extreme case but I got a lot of good attention |
I was in a motorcycle wreck a few months back and have had some pretty serious work done to my leg. I'm yet to ascertain if it's going to work for or against me, the worst isn't the 24 pins sticking out of my leg, nor the 6 big metal halos down the length of my leg. Those I think I could quite successfully use to my advantage. The thing that's put me fair and square back in an
AFC mind frame is the permanent disfigurement of my leg and my back, back where they cut half of a lat out, and leg where they attached half a lat that doesn't know it's meant to be a calf now.
That combined with the whole wheelchair thing that I'm stuck with for the next year or so has got me so down I haven't even been out and given it a go yet. Any tips on spinning this in a positive light? Can it actually work for me as some kind of twisted messed up
peacocking?
