Neighbor alert!

I was hanging out in one of the local bars in our place. I bumped up with my neighbor who is very pretty and way too hot to handle. We don't know much each other since we didn't have any chance to talk (I mean real conversation). We only did simple "hi", "hello" in the neighborhood. How will I initiate the contact and what would be a good opening pick up line?

Offering to bring her home, casually, when you bumped into her in that bar would have given you loads of information, like whether she hangs out there a lot, if she's available or not, how hard she parties, and what she's like after a night out with her friends. So maybe next time you can consider doing that. Just ask her if she needs a ride home, or if she can give you a ride.

Maybe next time you see her in that bar, check what she's drinking. Don't undermine her choice of drink but do give her a chance to sell the drink to you.

If you meet in your neighborhood, just say "hi" again and ask if she frequents that bar, or does she like the night scene a lot, and which bars or drinks are her faves. If you've never been to somewhere, ask if she'd mind taking you there for drinks, with the drinks on you, of course.

You can probably check other threads and articles in the forum that can be tweaked to suit your situation.

Just make a casual conversation at first like "Oh, hi.. Nice to see you here. Do you come here often?" From that opening line, you can initiate a contact. Of course, she will be telling you information and be delighted to see you around, not in the neighborhood, but at the bar. Offering a ride is a good move or you may ask for a ride in going home. Talk about the things she likes when she goes out.

^^ I'm sorry, but so far every line is so boring. I would say "Hey! Do you have the Rambo gofer in your yard too!!" , "Yea, I ve got this gofer, and no matter how hard I try to get him away, Ive used garlic, vinegar, fresca, nothing works, he always comes up and chases my dog all up and down the yard, the poor guy is horrified to even go outside and run after his own tail!"

That is a good, 10% involvement (remember, the first step is pretty much 90% you) Opener, you already kinda know her so you can go a bit deeper with talking about how you live next to each other, and shes like "garlic wtf!" , :"goffer, wtf!" This is a nutty story. Just be sure to still be interesting after my story and not come off as weird, don't do anything weird after that cause it was weird enough, you can just relax now and be like "nah, I may have exaggerated a little bit, you never do that now do you?".

Just be interesting and interested, right? I have never tried this opener, because I know all of my neighbors really really well, I had them all over for a bbq the first day I moved in, I've gotten to know them all on a personal level on many occasions, but that's just how I do stuff.

Thanks guys. All suggestions got some points. We just had a chat thru ym a while ago. We had a nice chat about the bars and the neighborhood. When we met in the bar, I didn't have the chance to talk to her for a longer time since the music is too loud and she is with her friends. But I managed to contact and chat with her ove YM. I hope this is a good start.

That's good news! I'm glad you have developed an attraction inspite of a short period of time. Keep it cool the thing between you and her. You'll definitely nail her down in no time...

Tell us more about how things are going down between the two of you. I hope you've managed to take her out already by now.
