Do You Ever Lower Your Standards?

I know that Pick Up is all about getting what/who you want. But I'd still like to know, do you ever lower your standards, and how?

Say, the hot chick you want is taking a longer time to thaw but a chick across the room is already making a lot of eye contact, but she's not exactly creme de la creme. Do you ditch the hard-to-get for the greater possibility?

What's more thrilling, getting the hottest girl you zero in on, or more succesful pick ups wherever, whenever?

I think it is OK to lower your standards when you are first becoming good with women. And besides... if you are judging women PURELY on their looks you are missing out on a whole lot of amazing women. I don't like to use the numeric scale for women, but for this argument I will apply the HB numbering scheme.

For me, I would MUCH rather be with a cool, laid back HB8 than I would an annoying, high maintenance HB9 or HB10.

Im no skilled PUA but for me its all about the hunt for the bigger game that drives me, and if you land a really hot chick you will carry on that extra confidence to your next sets which will help you do better and better. Thats not to say I havent had some sub par chicks over, but that would usually be times when ive had too much to drink and my self respect is way low

As a newbie to this community. I find lowering my standards is a good way to get experience. I figure hit on 6-7 and move up. The 6-7 are a nice little band-aid.

I have a different problem, I can get a 9 fairly easy, and as long as I am with some girls, I can get a 10, but I always freak level 6-7's out. Infact, I like a level 7, I have this fantasy of breaking them in, but I must come in with too much energy or something, cause I feel like they think I am just making fun of them or something.

If you can't seem to achieve your ultimate goal or standard it's okay to go for a lower standard. It doesn't make you less of a man. Just work on your tactics and PUA techniques learn from the experts and advice.

Sometimes, when am actually trying to impress certain people or I need an ego boost, I really work on the hotter of the hotties (according to an average male's standards). But if I really want a great time and quality hookup, I go for the one that intrigued me the most, even if she may not always be that hot. Plus, hot is relative to a certain degree.

Some guys prefer really beautiful faces, some prefer really huge bewbs. Some, on the other hand, prefer whoever it was posing the most challenge.

Whatever floats ones boat... so technically, that isn't lowering standards if they're who you dig.

I like to think of it like this...A piece turned down is a piece you never got...If all else fails in your night and you need to fark, that's when I will call a girl that I've been keeping around because she's below my standards. Also a great use for ex girlfriends lol.

Instinct I run into the same problem quite often. I think what's going on there is that maybe the 6's and 7's feel like you are making fun of them because they can't understand why such a charming and charismatic man would be so interested in them. Maybe they aren't ready for what you are throwing at them. I actually ran into this last weekend in an obstacle. She (6tops) completely turned cold on me and my target (HB9)was still throwing it at me. Weird

There are times HB8-9 is very easy to get. HB6-7 is quite difficult. I really don't know if applying the techniques for each category would be different or just vary from one girl to the other?
