Need help with a particular girl I'm interested in

So here is the situation. I was chilling in my apartment the other night and my friend was going through facebook profiles and he got to one girl that I immediately got interested in when I saw her. She is gorgeous. Probably an easy HB9. I am not friends with her on facebook nor have I ever seen her in person.

As my friend was going through her online pictures, one of them caught me by surprise. She was standing by a sign RIGHT next to my parents house in the picture (I moved out right after the summer). Then I found out she lived across the street from me for the summer only and I never even realized (I know stupid ignorant me).

I know I am never going to see her ANYWHERE. There is a bit of difference in age. Shes 19 and I am 26. Not that crazy. I think my only chance is to talk to her on facebook. What would I say? I know how to be cocky/funny but I don't want to overdo it obviously with the first message. How would I go about sarging her on facebook without seeming stalkerish?

Just so you know, im typically a confident, funny guy so im more on the "crazy" side when it comes to girls or anything. Im just the type that speaks my mind but in a fun way. Anyway, i'm sure a lot of guys have this problem with the initial facebook interaction. This girl is EXACTLY my type and I would love to get her on a date.

You are already WAY too needy with this girl. Facebook stalking your neighbor is a tough way to start a relationship. Why don't you have your friend who knows her arrange something so you guys are chilling at the same time. Then you can drop where you are from and she will be like what? I am from across the street.

If you just send her a random message, no matter how tight, your odds of success really go down.

It's okay to initiate some conversation over facebook or thu text messaging. However, it won't surpass the power of talking in person. Invite her to hang out with you or watch a movie. Then, you can get to know each other and develop a great deal of attraction.

I would use your friend as an excuse. I'd say my friend was just bored browsing through pictures of random people's facebook and he went nuts when he saw you standing next to the sign near my house. Then go about saying how this must be some crazy coincidence and that you have to get to know more about her.

Mystery's suggestion is right on, dude. Send a pic of you in the same vicinity and just say it's freaky you guys were from the same area but never met... and that you'd love to remedy that.
