Question Facebook AMOG battle

Hey guys, I'm in the middle of a Facebook war right now. I know it's something that's rare, but it happened to me. I've got this AMOG who used to be my high school friend (let's call him Tom) and obviously has turned his back on me.

I've spoken to Instinct about Tom always attacking me and he tells me Tom here is probably trying to pick up my girls on facebook and is seeking attention rather than attacking me. Here's the break down of what went down so far:

Me (Status): Dear nerdy friends: I gots me a (name of computer case) case for boxing day. Temps went down by 17 degrees!!

Tom: OMG. You did not just post that!

Tom's supporting bitch : ^ *likes*

Me: I said my NERDY friends! Stop trying to but in on our secret meetings! (Credits to Instinct)

Tom: loser. ahaha. just kiddings! kinda?

----------------------------------------------

I haven't made a response to him yet, but here's what I plan on responding with. Please give me suggestions and feedback to see if my response will shoot this pest off my back or not.

My planned response: Did you hear? Nerds are in trend right now. But thanks for trying Tom.

What do you guys think?

Just ignore him dude. Replying to stupid, senseless comments will just make you look more stupid. And next time you post
something and he comments something similar, just ignore again. Or if you must reply, just post something like... "Your point bro?" or "That the drugs talking, dude? Haha"

Use one of Cultured lines should serve just fine in this situation. Don't deign to petty Facebook battles. If he wants to sully himself, let him Misashi your battles for you.

Seriously, gato, don't buy into his BS. You'll be more than fine.

Agreed. Just reply with "that's cute" or something akin to patting him on the shoulder.

Try to call him 'buddy' or 'pal' also... as it is kind of condescending.

or...

if it was me, i would just delete him as a friend and move on... life is to short to deal with jerkoffs.

Don't be drawn into this type of thing. The very act of continuing this little game is by it's very nature, forcing you to lower you value to his level. An alpha man isn't threatened by this type of douche, and any fall-out that it may bring. He doesn't feel the need to even try to defend himself past an initial dismissal.

It might sound kinda too self-help (or gay, or feminine) but I am just reminded by that quote that goes something like... "if the moon paid attention to all the dogs howling at it, it would stop shining"

Stop paying attention to the dogs, dude. Just continue doing what you do best.

Sometimes intimidation and irritation can get into our nerves and we end up messing up things-especially our game. Don't mind those stuff. Stay focus on what you're doing.

They could have low confidence. Or they're just being a jerk. Or crazy. Or are really bored. Or mean. Who knows why some guys want to make an ass of themselves? What matters is you don't.
