I ran into an ex boyfriend a couple of days ago at my favorite club and he made a point of introducing me to this new girl he is dating.

Was he trying to make me jealous or was he just being kind of insensitive?

It depends. Did he break up with you, or did you break up with him? He probably was showing you that he can get other women and that he has moved on.

I think his intention is to hurt your feelings. Introducing his new girlfriend simply means that he can replace you easily. But it all depends on how you guys separated each other.

He is "showing you what you are missing". Dismiss it and move on, obviously he hasn't, unless you guys are "still friends" in which case he is just showing some respect by keeping your friendship honest. Either way, I wouldn't sweat it unless you want to win him back.
