Hi, I'm new here. I'm in a very anxiety provoking situation, and I was wondering what you all might think my best options would be:
I'm a senior in college, living in an apartment. My landlord has hired one of their many tenants to show their apartments for prospective tenants. She comes by SOME (unpredictable) Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 11 am and 4 pm. At these times, I try to make sure that I'm at least somewhat occupied -- playing music, cooking, reading... not just sitting on the couch doing nothing.
Every now and then we make a little small talk, but she's always with prospective tenants, so I'm usually hesitant to strike up the conversation. The most recent time, however, she came by on a Saturday, unexpectedly. She was taking a gamble that I was home because she knew that I was friends with someone who just moved into one of the places she was showing. She needed her number (to get her to sign some stuff that she forgot to have her sign... important stuff), and she also asked if I would let her print something out on my computer. I let her do what she had to do, and we made more small talk about what our Christmas/New Years plans were. I finally got her name, but no number. She mentioned facebook, and I can't find her for the life of me. When she used my computer, she used the same email client as me, so her email address is still saved as an email address that's been used on my computer.
They started showing places again on the 4th of this month, and I still haven't seen her come by. It's not helping the mild issues I have with anxiety. I'm wondering if it'd be a creepy thing for me to do if I e-mailed her. I was right next to her when she logged into her e-mail, but it's still not like she gave me any actual contact information... but it really sucks to not know when I'll see her next. I feel like I could be taken completely off guard and blow it again.
Also: As required by her job, she has a key to my apartment. That sort of freaks me out. Bad idea? I feel like she's worth it.
