A
cockblock is anyone or anything that prevents you from doing a full close with your target. They interfere with our game whether accidentally or on purpose. These are the AMOGs, wing man, third wheel, big fat friend... even parents, friends and alcohol can be
cockblocks.
Some of them are intentional
- spiteful people who don't even like the girl you're after, or you, but would rather die than see anyone getting laid and having fun that night
This one is usually weak, can be easily manipulated. (Here take her man, I think you can handle her, I don't know what those guys were talking about)
- rivals who know they've failed but wouldn't let you win either
See above,
usually makes picking up the girl easier, because we can laugh at this person together.
- jealous girls who haven't had anyone offer to buy them drinks or ask them to dance in a long ass time
should have paid more attention to the whole group, if they don't trust you, she wont.
- sister's keeper, who was asked beforehand by your target (or by everyone in the set) to guard their asses and keep them from doing something they'd regret
should have paid more attention to the whole group, if they don't trust you, she wont.
- scary institutions like parents, health teachers and Catholic upbringing (but just love dating choir girls!)
parents love me, the other 2 are going to make her fail my test.
- leaked, false info about you/gossip (which is why it's great starting fresh in a new town)
not much false information around about me, most of the bad stuff is true.
Some are unintentional
- dang cellphone. Make you girl turn hers off!
right!,
actually, I tell her "Ill see you later tonight" , giver her a cheek kiss and walk away.
- alcohol (either she can't get up after the party, or yours won't)
what are you gonna do!
- circumstances (you don't have your own place, extra money, own car, etc)
if you're a young student, and she cant understand this, then their is really nothing you can do, and she sounds horrible. I believe men should leave the town that their parents live in, and get a dorm room for college, and you will actually get way more out of those 4 years (remember, having 20 very tight contacts, who are all college educated is going to come in handy in 5-10 years, this WILL boost your career, as well as game.
Now, what types have you encountered? How did you handle them? Let's all learn from each other!
