The Straw Man

Hey guys so i have heard of the technique called the straw man. Basically if the girl has a boyfriend you say "oh thats great you found such a NICE guy. Im sure he fulfills you in every way." etc.. some variation of that basically building him up to be something hes not. Then shes supposed to break him down and realize hes not that great and want to be with you. Its also the alpha response since telling her that her bf sucks is just insulting.

Im not for breaking people up but its always worth testing because most people arnt in a perfect relationship and its worth doing this little test to see where shes at since many attractive girls are in relationships just waiting for something better.

I have tried this on two different girls and dont seem to get a response of them breaking him down. I know that isnt a large sample size but well lets face it, most guys arnt quality and theres a good chance there are things she isnt happy with. For example today i did it to a girl and she just said yea things are great and then asked me what my situation was.

My question is just what are the typical responses to this and how do you execute it properly because maybe thats my problem.

Oh, Ive read of this being discussed somewhere in the board (BF Destroyer?) Maybe you should try looking for that thread to see other samples of lines you can use, and maybe you should be more specific about what you say... something like, "don't tell me, he never forgets anniversaries and always shows up on time, right? and he always asks about your day and listens to your every story? i knew it. A perfect guy." instead of saying "he fulfills you in every way"

See, when you're more specific, the girl gets to nitpick as well... when you generalize, she generalizes as well...

And well, you could be hitting on girls who are genuinely happy about their relationships.

i may have to try that..but first throw in:
girl: i have a boyfriend
me:i have a gold fish
girl: what?
me: I thought we were talking about sh1t that didnt matter.

combined they probably work good cuz im 1/1 on it alone
