The Social Man Products And Bootcamps

I found his book "conquer your campus" to be extremely helpful and I have often recommended it on this forum and to my friends, however I will never recommend one of his products ever again.

I recently signed up for his "unbreakable" program. If you read the terms carefully, it is made abundantly clear that you are also automatically included in his "The Good Life" program for which you will get billed approximately $40 a month, unless you opt out. I immediately went through the steps on his site to opt out of this secondary product as soon as I set up the account because I didn't want to forget and get billed.

Last week I got billed for $40 bucks. I emailed The Social Man through their Turn Seven billing service, and explained the situation, and told them to reverse the charges. I was emailed back promptly by a "Karen" and told that the program clearly stated that I would be opt'ed into "The Good Life" unless I opted out. I emailed her back and told her that I knew that, and I HAD opt'ed out as soon as I got the account. I told her to email me back within two days or I would get my bank to reverse the charges. Two days later the charge has not been reversed, nor have I received a reply.

Christian, your company is a scam or your billing service is lousy. Now I will have to fight to get my bank to reverse the charges. Because of me, I know you have sold at least four copies of your "Conquer Your Campus", and I guarantee that I will lose you at least that many more sales. I am very sad to be treated this way by someone in the community. I will do everything in my power to make sure it doesn't happen to others.
