Waitress who doesn't take orders

I'm interested in a waitress working at a restaurant + bar and need help because I'm stuck for ideas.

She doesn't take any orders because food is paid at the bar. She only serves food or collects empty glasses at the lounge.

The kitchen is next to the lounge and I've managed to speak to her a few times. First time I had a small chat and found out her name. The next week was a little different, the convo didn't go as smooth. I've found it hard because she is constantly busy, so trying to have a decent conversation is a real challenge.

I'm not a fan of the food at this place either. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

ok well what you need to do is basically a type of speed game. You need to find the time when she is least busy, or when the bar/restaurant is least busy and try to talk to her while she works but dont make it awkward. You need t have a fun/warm energy. And then when you talk you need to basically say "i was here and was about to leave but wanted to finally say hey." then tell a quick dhv story to build attraction and then try and see if after you can take her to go get some real food cause the food there is kind of bad. Its always best if the place is close to where she works because it will be more comfortable that she doesnt have to go far. basically talk to her and she if when she is done with her shift that she come with you for a quick snack and some drinks. be sure that your story shows qualities that she would find attractive

Small question: should I call her by her name or will it freak her out? She told me her name 3 weeks ago and I'm not sure she remembers.

If she is already busy on that night to go for food/drinks after her shift, is it still worth creating a timebridge i.e. meet another day? Would I sound desperate?

Any tips for a good dhv story?

waitresses and hired hands are my bread and butter. always leave on a high point. go in and out as you please. remember they can't bust your ass for not liking their business even though you are trying to get the business onside too.

leave an impression with her. make her smile even if you don't speak to her cos you are in there for 20 seconds.... she notices you though

they are doing the most boring job and most punters are rude, drunk or both. she will appreciate someone making it a bit different for her.

i have worked every business in our bright light street and now they all know me and i have a bit of celeb status.

this is called game for a reason mate. we are star players in this game and we aim to get pretty bloody good at it

the business does have a duty of care to protect her from getting picked up whilst working for them but is that in her interests. its not in mine and if she isn't 100% on the company line then we might have a special function

well there is one story that i use sometimes and you could actually change it to relate to her. I usually tell a story about how i was at work and bloody bored but then i ended up getting a call from one of my friends that went to Denver( change it for the major spot in your place to be for clubs/bars). They called me after the club and said that they were in an art gallery and didnt know how they got there because they had taken acid. So i ended up leaving work and driving an hour to find her(friend that is a girl) bring her home and make sure she was ok. that the jist of it. It shows certain values that women find attractive. i.e. you care for friends and stuff like that. So if you can talk to her and make her laugh and tell a story that displays good traits and leave on a high note she will smile and welcome you back the next time your there. Make a story with ur own personal flare. of course i dont say it that boring, i put flare and jokes in it but i wanted to make this post quick

I've thought of a dhv story and I'm more prepared from everyone's feedback.

• I'm curious about what Coyote said about 'making her smile even if you don't speak to her'.
  How can this be done? I would love to know how to do this.
• If I use a timebridge, is it better to give her my number or get hers? Or give her my card because the ball is in her court?

bouncing her out of there can be difficult. time bridge is best so you gotta get her off work mode and break into that personal space and thats where things can be difficult if the culture of the joint is crap. those jobs they are often underpaid and overworked

being underpaid can work to our advantage if we make a bit of a joke of the joint and she doesn't like the job that much. that what i mean about making her smile even if you only deal with her boss. make a fool of the authority there without making it obvious but do it for her. she will smile as though you and her both know the place is crap but you aren't equating her with it

smile. if she keeps seeing you walk in.... smile. recognise her. she will know that you have recognised her becuase you like the look of her and she will appreciate it. many talented people bust their asses as cindarellas before they crack broadway. single her out for a smile or hi with your eyes

eyes and smiling.... the best thing we have in our kit and these sort of joints operate more on visual communication that spoken in many cases

yeah make her smile and feel good to see you and then joke around. But if you can get a date after she gets off, do it. If not try and get her number and take her out another night

be a good feeling for her when you enter the joint
be her favourite customer
let the place have a good vibe cos you are there

relax, go with the flow
be something different from all the other punters
