Default Approaching women in public

Whats the best way to approach a woman in a public place..for example i saw a women in wal-mart that i wanted approach but i didnt know what to say, all i can think of is hey, how you doing.....
any suggestions so this will not happen again?

why dont u start reading some useful info around here?

but to answer your question, there is no "pick up line" that you use.. the best pick up line is "hey... im X, you look cute and i'd have felt bad if i didnt come say hey".

Many people prefer that. But what if answer is short like: "Ok." or woman says something like "Do you stalk girls?" or she tests?

well yeah it would depend on the approach...u can do direct or indirect. You can always say "hey ur cute and i wanted to say hey, im chris what is ur name" or if u were in walmart you can say. "hey i wanted to make a kind of chicken for dinner but didnt know a good recipe, do you have any" and then talk blah blah blah, my name is Chris whats urs. and then maybe close with something like "well i have to go but can i get ur number and u can teach me ur awesome cooking skills emeril" ...it just depends... just make up stuff direct is usually i thought u were cute and wanted to talk and indirect is where it gets fun finding new ways to appraoch them.

I find to difficult to have indirect thing to say, unless it is a situation. Otherwise its boring stuff and women know that im not really interested in what I ask.
