Don't joke about it, you'll seem like an asshole. If you want to joke about the situation make sure its in person, it's hard to convey exactly what you mean through a text message.

If you text back try to seem like your unfazed by her flaking but it wasn't a cool thing to do. Make sure everything is cool with her neighbor. Tell her she owes you for standing you up. Keep it casual and flirty.

If she acts like a bitch be aggressive and don't take her Sh1t. Push Pull tactics work everytime.

lol yeah that really isnt something to joke about. i would have just said that sucked and that its ok that you flaked cause a house was almost burnt down. at least it wasnt to get you nails or hair done or anything like that.

End it with a topic that shows you have moved on from this little episode, if you keep harping on about it she will lose interest and your boned. Good luck bro

well I think you screwed it up with the joking text about the fire.. though *I* thought they were hella funny, not something to do over text, vs. in person where you can smile and joke it up a bit. She's probably trying to Flake you and make you look bad so I would de-escalate and see if she comes around. Being that this is your second go around and the first one faded, you would have really had to pull this one off seamlessly unless your game had imprroved exponentially since the first failed run. I'd send her a very short text, "sorry for the off colour, was bummed you missed out, maybe you can make it up to me sometime" and then leave it. no attention, no texts, just pleasantries in person like nothing happened.
Basically, balls in your court, but i'm done. and realistically, if she isn't a firefighter, or her family/bestie lives next door.. it was just an excuse, and she's trying to deflect her guilt on you. There's other fish in the sea, hopefully this HB10 will see you walking around with a couple on your arm real soon. fwiw, ditzy blow-off bizzies lose points for flakiness and obvious lack or abuility to percieve value so.. remmeber to think of her as an 8 going forward.
