Military Openers

Hey, guys. King here, I am 21 years old currently serving in the United States Marine Corps (three years in September). With plans of reenlisting for 4 more. Now, its hard enough using military background as an Opener especially in a place where there are bases California is as miltary as it gets North/South Coralina, Okinawa Japan...all these places make it hard. Now. Am orginially from Philadelphia, PA...where is isnt a problem at all but. I can only go there when on leave. What can I do to better myself in a place with competition like Cali? I don't have a problem get them after things start the opener is my brick wall...Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.

lol well first off it seems like your using your military Opener as a crutch. being in the military doesnt make you who you are. if you open that way women will just think your a mindless soldier. just open like any other guy would, but when talking you can say your in the military and that gives you opportunities to tell dhv stories, to talk about traveling, talk about helping people, blah blah blah. Dont use the military as your main thing, the military is just a part of what you do.

That does make sense. I was someone before I joined the military. If anything the military thing should be played as just another plus. As for the mindless soldier comment, I see that a lot from newer joins. Fresh out of basic training, sand still behind there ear i see it. Them playing it up as if it is all they got and it turns out am doing the same. Thanks mate. I guess i just got to look at the bigger picture.

no doubt that will work great for DVH. It trigger her protection circuit. BUild some stories out of your experiences and use them in the field. However i wouldnt open with it. Unless you are in full dress blues... i would work that sh1t like crazy! lol

Oh when it comes to wearing my dress blues in public for a cermony or special event, its llike moths to the flame...lol

Your welcome. Its no problem someone gotta do it right. But, one thing that I don't even mean to do, but works when talking to a woman. I get a chance to display higher value in her eyes when I mention I am going to also start going to school for Fire Science, because a degree will help me in my life goal of becoming a firefighter...once those words dance in their ears its a wrap...
