New Rule - We Don't Operate Hotels

A friend of mine went through a weird situation with an HB8 the other day, and it made me come up with a new rule for The Game: "We Don't Operate Hotels."

This chick used to live in Vegas with us, but moved to LA about a year ago. Some of us stay in touch with her, and when she was in town in March she met my buddy at my place and he got her number. I don't know all of the details, but two weeks ago she decided to text my buddy that she'd be in Vegas again, and they decided to hang out at his place when she got here.

So she gets to his house, and they spend all night hanging out, mostly talking and what not. After a few hours, she says "I'm tired, which way is your bedroom?". Now, this chick has plenty of family in town and way better friends than my buddy, and he does not live far from those friends/family at all, so as soon as I heard this (and he felt the same way) I thought he was golden!

So they hop in bed together, and they talk for about two hours. In those two hours I guess he made one or two small passes, like putting his hand on her leg or brushing her hair from her eyes, etc, and I guess she just brushed his hand away every time. After the two hours, he decided to go for broke and went in for a kiss. She turned her head away from him, and at that point he just got fed up, flipped over on his other side, and went to sleep. She slept there all night next to him.

Now I'm not going to say my buddy has all of the skills. I know he didn't try the "you're going to sleep in your jeans" approach, and he probably didn't even try to build up some Comfort before then. But regardless, when a chick hops in bed with a dude she barely knows, yes, that is a signal, and this chick was all about games that night. This is where my new rule came from: We Don't Operate Hotels.

After reviewing the night with my buddy, I've decided that he should have kept trying all night. Yes, he may have set his game up incorrectly from the beginning, but either way he should have kept making sexual advances left and right, ESPECIALLY when she shot him down. At this point, one of two things would have happened. Either A) she would have eventually slept with him, which means he wins, or B) she would have gotten annoyed and left, which again means he wins!

So if a chick knows you are interested in her (and they always do) AND she is willing to hop in bed with you, you are either to sleep with her, or piss her off enough so she leaves. Either way, though, we do not operate hotels.

What do you guys think? Any disagreements?

no its a good rule. if girls are going to try and use us for some fun and a place to sleep so they arent lonely, why not go to a gay friends house and have fun with him. she knew that he was interested but wanted to play games. i completely agree. there are probably lots of things he did wrong but in the end, he didnt go for it.

For some reason this story reminded me of a time living in alphabet city (in NYC's east village) when my neighbor across the hall brought over her friend to hop in bed with me (I was asleep until they arrived)... of course I was pleasantly surprised but the crazy/funny thing is I didn't even actually see if her friend was hot or not as it was so dark in my room.

The night turned out pretty well... and luckily for me her friend was rather hot the next morning.

I miss that apartment sometimes....

Wow, awesome story Bill. I've actually been in somewhat similar situations. I somehow have an awesome success rate of getting girls to "take a nap" with me and sealing the deal. Hell, I can think of 5 different women without trying that I hadn't even touched (kiss, hug, etc.) until we were in bed. And like I often stress, I am not even that good at PUA!

But ya, whatever skill a guy has aside, this is an evil game I've seen many women play. We cannot let them win these battles!

Recently slept over at this girls house after she invited me, she tried to pull that sh1t on me and I told her neither of us were going to sleep till she got to 3rd base with me, she quit playing games pretty fast.

A similar story happened to me. I slept with this girl one night and she came over the next night. I assumed we were going to have sex again simply because it happened the night before. I tried some Kino and even rubbed her back (which turned her on ALOT the night before). No dice. I simply gave up and let her sleep next to me. However, this rule really makes sense, if a girl is going to sleep next to you, you are either going to get some action or she is going to GTFO. We do not operate hotels

Your advice to him was solid. You just gotta plow through and go after it. Spoon with her softly, ramp things up. Perhaps start whispering some dirty talk in her ear. If she grunts some stuff about wanting to sleep, just go in, whisper softly in her ear, "oh babe, this isn't a hotel."

Or say, "no rest for the wicked".
