What would you guys do in this situation?

Hey Guys,

A week back I approached a three set and after my Opener, I used an ftc (false time constraint).
I said " I gotta go join my friend in a sec...." and then I ran my usual routine....after about 5 - 6 minutes one girl said "didn't you say that you had to go join your friends..."(she was playful)....and I honestly cudnt think of a clever thing to say......

Any smart canned answer for something like that????

I'd just neg a bit...ask something like ''Looking rid of me already.. do you not like me?'' (jokingly of course and with a smile), if she says ''no'' like I'd presume she would I'd just laugh, smile and say to her friends ''It's alright, you guys like me, I'll just take over (her name)'s place.. we'll be a much better trio''... if her friends work in your favour then she's having to think of something (you have put her out of the group in a playful way and she should try and work to get her position back), but whatever she/they say back (as they could stick up for their friend here) you just have to be on the ball and quick-witted about it. Like if they were to disagree and say ''no she's much better'' you could say ''Yeah but she's looking rid of me..clearly intimidated by my total awesomeness.. so she must just be averagely awesome...''. You're still saying she's awesome, but just not as awesome as you so she can't take offence, and if she does just say that to her lol. If you do this is a fun way and they dig it, it can be great! If not, they can't take a joke so don't worry about it, there not fun lol.

If they all team up on you I'd just ask ''what is it about me you's don't like then?'' (still smiling and having fun with it)..just to get something to work with, and go from there. Turn whatever they say into a joke! Then when you're on a roll just say ''right enough though I should get back to my friends, good chattin blah blah blah'' and that's you done.

I know some of that can seem a bit dodgy (like trying to take over the friends place in the group) but if everyone is having fun and the convo has been jokey and all so far all should be good...works for me anyway lol

Jabu im going to agree and disagree with you here. I think a neg would work, however I don’t think it should be anything like what you’re saying. Reason being is when you neg and say “''Looking rid of me already.. do you not like me” it comes across as you lowering your own value, and a neg is meant to lower hers not yours. Then when you say “''what is it about me you's don't like then” it sounds really needy.

Maybe try something like “ So hostile, is she always like this” it will force her to defend herself and change the thread from against you to her qualifying herself to you. Trick with negging is you throw the neg and start a new thread immediately. Let it hit her, but don’t act like you are dwelling on it. Say it tongue in cheek and smile.

Now onto another point: I encourage you to move beyond canned material xtremeillusia. A more natural game and strong frame will help you deal with these objections better than any canned material can. Don’t get me wrong MM is wonderful and works, but to be honest a lot of guys, especially on this board, find it to be a stepping stone to natural game. So as a result I encourage you to try to develop yourself into a more natural PUA. It takes time, but trust me when I say it is well worth the effort.

See I've never really had a problem saying that.. I've used the 'is she always like that?' thing as well.. think it's just the way I do it or something. Generally able to work it in my favour anyways lol
