Help fellow aspirers!.. Lost Cause???

Hey everyone... first post but i decided to make it actually meaningful and to see if the guys on here are pretty good at what they do! So to start off i met this girl on the 7th about a week ago. we have the same class together and we're in the same group for this recent assignment so we exchange numbers. On that weekend i text her and try to switch the subject onto something else to my success. Eventually i ask her if she wants to watch a movie or something sometime and she says "yeaaa we could do that sometime. i'm usually busy cuz of school but we can work something out" So i say alright lemme know when ur free and she said she'll let me know whats up..

But........Here's the tricky part... I checked to see if she had a FaceBook and she does and her relationship status says "in a relationship" and on a wall posting from July (i know, we're in october now) she wrote a message to her "babe"......... What should i do? I just wanna know if this girl has a bf and if she likes me somewhat. A) I can't spontaneously text her I guess,(and she doesn't spontaneously text me), because it would seem awkward considering the only reason we exchanged numbers was cuz of schoolwork/class. B) Since she agreed to hang out i was thinking i could simply not text her till the end of next week and ask her if she wants to see a movie thats opening next weekend. She did say she'd hit me up.. but I don't wanna sit around waiting forever. At least if she Flakes then i know she's not interested. How do i go about getting this girl? What is the best course of action to take?

Run game till she stops you. Don't assume anything. Just last night I saw a buddy pick up a girl who was supposedly "in a relationship." I'd say worry less about Facebook and more about how she responds to your attention - that's the real truth.

oldie but one of my favs, reason being is that you need to be unresponsive to her relationship status. Just push through it.

you are already losing dude, you are letting her set up the date pick the time and all that sh1t when you are supposed to be a guy full of options and with a interesting active life. you unconsciously told her you got nothing to do or will clear your schedule when she says so.

maybe im picking at straws here but thats how i see it.
