Help With Dancing

OK! So I am a super, super, white guy, with no groove. The problem is, there are certain situations, where you NEED groove, aka the club. This video really helped me out:

Also, another tip: A fun thing to do when a girl asks you if you want to dance is to say "only if you will do the Carlton with me" (Fresh Prince reference). Every girl knows the Carlton. Then, get onto the floor, start doing it, and teach the girl, and while she's "Carltoning" start dancing normal and give them a weird look. This routine only lasts like a minute or more, no need to just stand there going back and forth snapping your fingers for a whole song. I made this routine up all by myself, it's mah baby.

I am still a crappy dancer, but I am learning, and I don't think girls really care if you're all that and a bag of chips on the dance flo' if your game is solid. Actually, I don't think they really care at all, provided you can at least move. And, if they're real good and start busting crazy moves and break dancing, just stop and stare for 3 seconds,then start moving crazy around them, they'll think it's funny.

Haha, it's funny how much girls are happy to grind on guys who can dance well. I too am a bad dancer, so I know where you're coming from. A good friend of mine started taking salsa lessons twice a week and has already slept with 3 chicks in his class and a bunch he met at clubs. Not too bad for only 2 months of lessons.

Daaaaang. I'm taking salsa lessons. First, The Game put that idea into my head, now you cemented it. My little sister wants to take a hip hop dance class with me, she's 16 but I might do that. Will feel weird sarging around her though >_< I'm 7 years older.

ima latino so i love all dat latin music n i also love to grind to some dancehall or hip hop or watever n girls almost always talk bout how im a good dancer ..girls wanna have fun n if u can show her a good time dancin [while flirtin n buildin some Sexual Tension] dats points in ur favor ..it could give her a reason to start a convo n then u can run ur routines/techniques or if u already started buildin rapport wit a girl then it could b a hook point ..dancin iz a skill but if u have no game then it leads nowhere
if u wanna learn how to do dance then its like gamin ..u need to practice until u master it ..dance in front of the mirror then practice at the club u mite not get it at first but in time ull b a good dancer ..n salsa lessons r def good ..my friend met his girl at a class n i heard it also from other guys tellin me its great for meetin girls n eventually full closin

You're very right, it is an indirect skill we should all have. I had a real tough time at the nightclubs tonight because of my poor dance skills. I find my game is excellent on campus but shabby everywhere dance is involved. I also think I totally hate nightclubs after tonight, and not because I had 1 crash and burn rejection (lets you know you're human), but because they're just way too loud. I feel I would be better if I could dance at least well, because the game there is all BL and dancing it seems. Plus, if I could dance, I would have something else to do besides drink while sarging.

I'm gonna sign up for salsa lessons asap. I'm really remaking my whole life now anyway, and learning to dance is a skill I deeply want to acquire.

We love grinding with men who aren't sleazing us up, generally. Mainly because we still want the dancing to be about us, and not about being marked as conquered. And well, clumsy men might make us look better but they also Take Away from our moment.

Hey All, Im 17 male here. At all the teen clubs and parties that I go to, there is no "normal" dancing, its all grinding. And is there a better way to Approach A Girl in these clubs, than just askin for a dance. It seems way to easy to get shot down by girls in this situation. Also if you are dancin with a girl, how can you start to open and all that stuff. it seems to me like youd have to Isolate right away. Any ideas?

The second video from the top has a great line "Can you dance? (Grabbing her hand) Prove it." Used that one a couple of times, and I'm not exactly a good dancer. Personally though, I never try to pick up a girl on the dance floor since it's so hard to read ioi's (unless she starts kissing you), and approaching her after dancing up to her seems to come across AFC. Usually if I'm at a club I'll open, false time constraint, hang out just long enough to get locked in, then usually split for a bit and back over to my friends I'm there with (normally more than 50% female). Then if I make eye contact with her later on the dance floor while she's dancing with her friends (normally all girls) and I'm out there with a group of girls I have social proof and am non-threatening to her to dance with. When we stop, I can either blend back in to her set or pull her into mine.
