background info:

to try to answer your questions here's what i do, and others please chime in if you have some suggestions i can use in the future.
1. i always try to sit next to the girls i like. this way it's easy to split up in to groups without making it obvious to her that you want to be with her, and other females around will also not find it weird. depending on the subject matter you can make jokes about it (like lit classes are easy, if you specify what type of class it is I could help a little).
2. kinoing in class is tough, you said you guys split up in to groups so you could do some then when everyone's scattered and there's more going on than the professor talking. i've never really done it a lot but if you're in chairs and you go in to a group you can move your desk next to hers and brush arms and legs, or when talking touch her then too.

4. i tried this last term and went well. i made a study group and just asked a few girls and my friend to be in it. then you can ask for their phone number to talk to them later and set up a study time and then suggest they find you on facebook. the study sessions can happen anywhere, like your place, and often not everyone could make it and it'd just be me and the girl. from there we'd study late and then i'd get to walk her home or after you're done you can suggest to go get coffee or something that's open late.
