first street opener failed miserably

soo i attempted my first day game street opener the other day on the subway. failed but didnt let it bother me just smiled and laughed it off.

heres the story...

gettin on the subway by my house, i enter the subway cart and look up and theres this HB9 we meet eyes. but shes on the far end of the subway. now this subway isnt exactly packed but theres no seats so im leaning up against the door and outa no where she walks over and posts up right next to me. now what i did wrong was i should of immediately opened to her but i kinda afcd it and chilled for a while. the whole time tho shes playing with her hair and starring at me. lets just say she gave me alot of IOIs. second part where i messed up after about 15 minutes i finally built up the courage to say somethng and that something was, hey im john (horrible i know). she just looked at me like i smoked crack for a living. i put back in my head phones and just laughed it off.

Where you failed, from my view, was you didn't remember the 3 second rule.

the 3 second rule to me is a joke after a while. it is used to make beginners either approach without getting in their own head or not approach at all. the thing you messed up on is the opener. maybe some cocky funny would have done some good here with the frame of a badboy.

yea it was def the Opener! something along the lines of "are you stalking me already?!" woulda been much better.

crobinson the bad boy game is what im about! it seems to be my natural niche since most of my stories are from my bad boy not giving a fark days

i was also learning more about IOIs from watching her tho with movements. like when i put my leg on the door she did the same, yada yada yada

all in all a great learning experience!

ok the second thing you mentioned about putting your leg somewhere and her mirroring you. thats called neuro linguistic programming, aka NLP for short. you can look it up on the forums cause there is a lot of stuff. but mirroring you movements is one technique of NLP.

yeah something cocky funny like "hey i couldnt help but notice, but it seems like ur already stalking me. well to not skip steps my name is ____" or whatever else. perfect way to guage her playfulness and random behavior. i like to use cocky funny to either A) blow a girl out i know i wont be attracted to or B) set up for some fun rapid Escalation with a girl i know ill be attracted to. i like the girls that are playful enough to give me sh1t while running with my frame. so in the end i would have definitely went with something like that. it also allows for an Instant Date after your done building rapport on the train ride.

but lesson learned for sure.

I agree with crob. I am not a fan of the 3 second rule, and despite my sig, I'm not much of a fan of Mystery in general. Anyway, don't worry about it bro, I have had weird reactions from girls I opened too. You need to think of an opener as a type of screen. Its almost a test to see if she's at least social or decent. Some girls fail your test. This Mindset does way mire for me than a silly 3 second rule. I'm "testing" a girl to see if she's cool, and if she is, that's groovy. All this said, add more to your opener. You can try situational or direct (my favorite is telling en I wanted to meet the girl behind the beautiful or warm smile, or with the cool fashion sense, etc), but try to be a bit beyond simple greetings, which also sometimes can work I'm sure, and will get you farther than doing zip

yeah i have never really wanted to say it. Mystery was the milestone but i dont quite like his stuff at all. but yeah direct situational with a hint of cocky funny and your set to go. me and raven have the same idea. we want girls to pass our test and if they dont cool. it wouldnt work out anyways i would be bored

the more you do it the more comfortable you get with it and the stronger your nonverbals will get. if i have learned much its that your nonverbals/body language is huge when opening women. you could say the best stuff but if what ur body is saying is not congruent they will not think much of you and wont get attracted. its like the movie hitch. its all in body language and tonality. haha

i gotta get my day body language and verbals down, usually when i try to Meet Girls its at night and im usually slightly intoxicated lol, so this is all new. therefore my sarging usually revolves around clubs and bars where its much easier to spark up convos.

but this site is awesome for learning tips and tricks to apply to my natural game! and i will def keep working it till i give you guys a solid f close day field report haha cheers!!
