Bartender game

Hey guys, First time poster but have been practicing pick up artistry for a couple years now after reading the game by Neil Strauss (I suspect this is true for the majority of PUAs).

Anyways, Im needing some advice approaching a bartender at a local bar, although I have no anxiety in approaching her she is a legitimate 9-9.5 so I'm really trying to think of the best approach to take on this one and thought I'd ask your guys opinions.

The Bar isn't really loud but can get quite busy, its the sort of place people head to drink before hitting clubs. Ill be heading there with 3 or 4 other guys, all pretty good wing men.

I was thinking either one of the following three approaches would be best:

1. Treat it like day game as she wont be drinking and is in her work environment, Id have to order a few glasses of water so as to not seem like a drunken yob. using Cajun's method of saying "Listen I think you're really cute and id kick myself if I didn't introduce myself" (then introduction) throw in a time constraint and ask for number then leave the bar.

Obviously Id have to be at the bar for sometime before I give the time constraint and leave, so as not to look stupid and id have to avoid talking to her until leaving. The only problem is she might get this a fair bit from other guys.

2. Visit the bar over 3-4 week period and establish some sort of regular status before asking to see her outside of her working hours, throwing in some DHVs and maybe showing her a handshake to remember the next time we meet etc.

3. Treat it like any other set and locking in at the bar and opening with an opinion Opener and taking it from there.

Wow this turned out to be quite long, if anyone can offer their opinions it would help a lot. Ill be heading to the bar this saturday so will post up a field report on Sunday.

If the place is empty, #3

If it's got a few patrons, wait for a slow moment and go for #1

If it's crowded, you're stuck with #2.


Personally, I don't hit on the waitstaff, as I have friends and family that do those jobs, and usually the waitstaff at a particualr establishment is a big clic and they're all hooking up with each other after their shifts. Best way to game a bartender is to work at the bar. Second best way is to be part of their social group (usually by being very close to someone that DOES work at the bar, relative or good friend). Beyond that, well, if you're going to game as a customer, game the bartender as you would a Stripper-- don't be a typical customer, and move as quickly as possible towards the goal of connecting with her AWAY from the bar, be it meeting up after, later, or doing the txt game.

I'd say Magnum is on point, although I wouldn't use any of the 3 approaches you've listed. If this Bartender is Hot, virtually nothing you say is going to differentiate you from every other guy who's tried to pick her up.

I worked in Food & Beverage and Nightclub Industry in Las Vegas where all the female bartenders are hired as "Models" and are paid to look good. If you aren't industry, or ultra high status, the most effective way to pull a bartender while she's on the clock is to:

1. Frequent the bar enough to build a unique rapport with her that's based primarily on your Social Status and familiarity with other industry workers that she's associated with.

2. Start by ordering your drinks specifically from her - be particular about how you like your drinks made. Do not chat her up beyond your normal please's and thank you's.

3. Tip Her WELL the first handful of visits. I call this a "friendship deposit". Bartenders love generous clients and they'll remember your face. If she's cool she'll eventually start pouring you free shots and the like in return for taking good care of her. This makes you good in front of the other bar patrons. Pay with Cash.

4. You've been to her bar 3 - 6 times, you've already added half of the other bar staff on Facebook because you've been there enough times to create some social status. This is when you begin to chat her up briefly and casually. You finally get her name (even if you already know it), you make it an official introduction. You talk shop, if it goes well, you get her Facebook.

5. Weather through Facebook or otherwise, She's now going to realize you have some mutual friends, some status, some pre-selection. This is the key. After this point you can go ahead and game her because she's less likely to see you through the customer service lens. And more likely to consider you as an option.

See where this is going? Of course there are exceptions! You may be an exceptionally charismatic, charming-asshole and may only need to visit her a couple times, bust her balls, get her number and skip the whole process. But generally these are the necessary steps to pull the sexiest, most badass bartenders.
