Punishing Alpha style

I checked for this thread but didn't find one, sorry if there are one.

Anyway, as you might know most Alpha Males have some way to punish you for acting wrong. I have the perfect exampel of that in my class. A guy that all women dreams about. If another man is making fun of him he usually uses his speed to make fun of that person. I can't explain it very good but for exampel

- High five! ooh to slow

or

AFC: can you pass me the salt?
Alpha male: Yea sure, here!

and when the afc trys to take the salt AM pulls it away, then offers it again pulls it away until he thinks that the AFC has been enough punished.

So my question is, what common methods does Alpha males (or you) use to punish someone that steps over the line?

That’s not being alpha its being a jerk. A real alpha doesn’t have to “punish” anyone. Go try that stuff and see if it works, I imagine all its going to get you is very low value women.

right. being a jerk. An true alpha who maintains his value might tease you by pulling the salt away the first time, but then giving it to you in good will the next, as if reasserting your friendship. He's just teasing, but still a genuinely good guy, and he's doing it because he is your friend and a friend to all. Total awesomeness on every level is more alpha than douchebaggery.

Well perhaps I missunderstod something. Because none thinks he is a jerk when he does this, he is just playing around. And if he thinks the AFC gets annoyed he says "i'm just kidding with you". He is just.. fun. But still I can se a connection to when he is playing around with someone and when this someone has made fun of him or something. But perhaps it's not something alpha, just him?

Sure, playing around. Teasing you like he did weaker kids in high school. "He is just... fun" in the eyes of others. But if it hurts you, or strikes you as even the least bit humiliating and dominant, then he is Alpha. It depends on how you handle it. If you take it, you're beta. If you flip it back at him and "the others" see it, then they'll perceive you to be equal. You can both dish it out, and take it.

Unfortunately, the younger you are, the more sensitive you'll be to the "playful" exchange, and the more others are likely to perceive it as dominant.

If none of these things phase you or have an effect on you and others know this, then it's a wash. Your status is not affected.

So for exampel if he pulls away the salt from you when he is handing it to you a couple of times. How would you react in a alpha way?

I think an "alpha" way to respond to his antics would be to either ignore him or to just play him off like he's "too cool for school".

Also, lets stop focusing on one particular dude's behavior. The point of being Alpha is you are being a MAN. Its not childs play. It's being confident in your own skin. Thats really what it boils down to. Not how you treat people whom you consider "AFC".

I would say 'What are you, in 3rd Grade?" Then stand up and grab the salt.
