Pick up at work?

Hi All,

I was wondering what everyones thoughts are on picking up women at work?

I went out to the bar with a group of coworkers and was able to build up Sexual Tension and Kino with two ladies. We dont work in the same department, but same company.

I'm torn between continuing my routine and just keeping it as friends. I've been leaning towards keeping as friends as I've gotten a couple other numbers from non coworkers and figured i could go for that instead, but in my head its like im challenging myself to see if I could do it or better said I have the urge to see how far I can take it....

Ideas?

Simple. Willing to risk your job? Go for it. No? then don't.

It don't mean that you will risk job, depends on the company policy. But it has kind of the same pros and cons as social cirkel game.

Pros: You won't have to "open" when you have a reason to talk to her. You don't need to get a Number Close or so, you will meet her tomorrow again. Etc

Cons:

If you fark up, it might fark up your reputation in the social cirkel (company).

I'm sorry, but the fact is that you WILL risk losing your job. It doesn't mean that you WILL lose it, just that you RISK it.

Even if the company policy is vague or nonexistent on this matter, any situation that has the potential to create a conflict of interest within the company, ESPECIALLY if it could mean a sexual harassment suit, will be metered. Policy or not.

If it were NOT POSSIBLE for you to lose your job, we wouldn't be having this discussion right now.

become buddies with these girls, and go after their friends. Do everything EXCEPT teasing (i.e., make them comfortable, build rapport, but don't break it, be genuine and heartfelt in every sense). Invite them to events, and they'll do the same. Then you can game their friends, or use the entire group for social proofing.

Terrible idea. If you feel the urge to game a girl at work you are too needy and must go and find other girls in a more neutral setting.

If you have a good job then don't do it. If its a crappy job then go for it! I have a rule not to get involved with anyone I work with but I do live in a place where jobs are hard to get even more so with the decent paying ones. Just be prepared if you go for it to risk your job. That's all I am saying!
