Best Rejection Responses?

More people could get over anxiety if they had the best comebacks or ways to get over it. I've said, "Oh well", a few times. However, now I'm thinking about witty comebacks.

I have a great one that I always use if they tell me they have a boyfriend or are married. I tell them:

"Oh well thats ok, I would probably be embarrassed if someone I knew saw me takeing out both of you"

lol.. I get a laugh every time. Works like a charm.

Boyfriend= theres the typical "i have a goldfish" response. It works, depends on the girl though.
I like saying "wow he must be a great guy to be with you. I bet he lavishes you with gifts, has taken you to paris and plans to marry you very soon." The usual response is " umm.....no ". Bam!!

I like Direct Game. So when I see a mate strike out with a Flake, or awkward smile etc. I tell him to neg her on her confidence. Ie: " You obviously dont have the confidence to accept a compliment. I will help you. (insert comment), then teach her how to accept it. Then say your goodbye's and move on .

The trick is if you bomb out, get OUT of your head. Routines wont help you. Its hard to use a routine for EVERY possible response.

I checked the other link. There wasn't one for just a simple no. lol I heard the confidence about compliments remark used as an Opener. In fact, I saw a video where a girl said it worked on her.

"No" is not witty. And what you say about compliments, that's called Direct Game. And who's "remarded"??

Are you serious? lol I appreciate the replies. But you rushed to be critical. I meant "remark" (now edited) and a witty reply to brush off "no" (in reference) to getting a number.

I happen to use "Well, that's too bad." I think it gives the impression that I don't care THAT much and that she is missing on something, but I may be wrong.

why not just play it off

"oh ok? i wasn't asking if you had a boyfriend, what i wanted to know was if YOUR FRIEND OVER THERE is single"

right away, she has been shot down as being part of your interest.
