Newbie needing help BAD

Hey all! New member here. I've never joined a forum like this before but I feel like I need some help now.

My story in a nutshell, I'm 18 turning 19 in a week. I've only gone out clubbing a couple of times in my life. I consider myself to be a pretty good looking guy. Not the kind of guy girls will run up to but above average and I definitely see girls checking me out sometimes. I was pretty popular in highschool but almost every girl I talked to I just became friends with them. The problem is I'm NOT a "nice guy" to girls. I don't do them favors and I rarely pay compliments.

My problem is I just cannot close with a girl...EVER!

I hope you guys don't think this is pathetic (cuz I certainly do) but I've never done anything besides make out with a girl before...I've gotten REALLY close a couple times, but never more.

I've made out with a LOT of girls, especially when I'm drinking. There seems to be a total shift in the kind of guy I am when I'm drunk. I say the right things, I'm confident and I'm able to make them laugh and become attracted to me.

But when I'm sober (which is most of the time) I just overthink things and cannot think of what to say to make a girl attracted. I've read a couple books on it, and I know all about Kino and cocky funny (and that HAS worked for me in the past) but now whenever I try that stuff I just don't get the response I hope for.

Since I know this seems pretty broad I'll give you one example.

I recently added a girl I knew from school but only talked to a couple times on facebook. She seemed flirty in school so I added her and messaged her something funny. She laughed and continued the joke but she didn't add any smileys or anything like that that would indicate shes interested. This continued over a couple interactions and I just have no idea what to do/say.

This happens with nearly all girls I talk to. Things seem to be going good but then I just don't know what to say to make them attracted to me.

With this girl (who is very hot and cute) are there any pointers anyone can give me on what approach to take?

And any advice on my situation in general? I know it's pretty sad that I'm almost 19 and have never had sex or anything but I'm hoping with me turning the legal age I'll be going out to clubs and bars more and meet some new girls.

It's weird; everything you wrote, Dillon, sounds like an exact description of myself... Honestly I could copy and paste everything you put and it would be true for me.

The thing you've always gotta remember man is be yourself just magnify your good traits, just don't brag! Come across as a confident male... not a douche, but convey you know what your doing and are comfortable in being you any shyness women can detect, so just be a bolder you basically
