Breaking PUA code?

Hey guys!!!

I had an interesting moral dilemma for you;

Recently, me and my point man were out sarging and came up against a 5 set!! We spat the usual game, negs Kino and all that, and it worked great, but felt a little off....i dunno if any of you have ever felt stale or like you're simply goin thru the motions? It s a bit disheartening, and almost scary to think you may be losing the love of PUa!!!!

anyways, feeling this, i lef tmy point man wit his target and moved away to the bar. There i saw 2 set of HB7's and approached....

Here's the crux of it; i opened with the following

me; hey! you seem pretty cool, i wanted you're opinion on something...
her; sure
me; you see that guy over there? *pointing to my point man* he's my point man, we go out and look mainly to have a good time...we're both people pleasers and like to make friends and have fun!! right now, he's talking to that girl, but he really likes her friend...
her; wow.....so why is he ignoring her?
me; he isn't, he's building interest with her, she'll be wondering why this guy isn't paying her attention, and will try to get him interested in her...then when she tries, he'll move onto her and they'll spark a connection
her; wow!!! so it's all a plan?
me; yeah....pretty simple, its all about making her curious about him, coz curiosity inevitably leads to attraction....the Mystery makes you want to know more...
her; ahhhh, i see
me; like this, me and you talk, and you wonder who i am, why i'm telling you this, and stuff, and even though we're strangers, you're eager to know more and even a little excited coz i'm showing you something you didn't know before...

anywyaz, by this time she was kino heavy and we ended up going back to hers!!

the next day, i linked with my point man (we always meet up after sarging to compare and review our game the previous night) and i told him what i did.....he was furious!!!!!!!! he hated the fact that i drew attention to the game, and was using him as my own seduction technique!!!

I knida see where he's coming from and wondered what you guys thought!!! is it breaking the PUA code to draw attnetion to the game or other PUA's? more a theoretical question i guess!!!

I am not sure how to answer this one. It seems wrong, but it did end up working for you.

I had a similar story this weekend. A buddy of mine and I went over to this girl's apartment Saturday night. She was having a bunch of people over and then we all were going to make out way to the bars in town.

So, the only people him and I knew was the one girl. Everyone else who came was her friend from home or college or whatever. (My buddy works with her so that's how he knows her, and I know her from him).

There were probably 4 guys and about 7 girls that were heading out that night. (The hottest girl there was an HB8 who had a boyfriend, who was actually a really cool dude). So, before we go out we are all pre-gaming. My buddy gets to talking to this heavy set girl. She is interested in our stories we have. Then her two sisters join in on the conversation.

He then tells her I am in the process of writing a book, and that I also write articles. He also tells her I am a PUA. I was kind of shocked when he said it, because, in a way, it is the secrets of the trade, but it just kind of threw me off.

Now, in regards to this, I wasn't necessarily mad at him. I just didn't know why he said it. It didn't really seem to serve a purpose to the conversation at hand. In your circumstance, your friend wasn't right there next to you when you said it. Also, you ended up getting with the girl who you opened to. In my circumstance, I can't see what reason it served. It wasn't like we were trying to pick her up. She was actually sort of intrigued by it and wanted to see us in action that night. In which she did when a bachelorette party came walking into the bar and I talked to them, ended up taking pictures with every single one of them, and also I got a little trophy from them saying "Best Body". Ended up number closing one of them.

Again, I am not the kind to be mad. I truly didn't care one way or the other if this girl did or didn't like me. But I sort of was a little thrown off at the flat out admittance to it.

I don't really see this as a derivation of PUA code. I often use the 'I'm a budding social scientist' (makes them less apprehensive than pick-up artist) approach. People LOVE examining other people and when they feel like you are a good resource to check how accurate their readings are, they'll want your attention. Plus it communicates strong social intuition and it's VERY different, immediately separating you from the pack. Just because you were honest, doesn't mean you didn't play the game. Matter of fact, when you can do it completely honestly and naturally, is when (imo), you're really starting to master it.

I would say your pua chops are just getting stronger my friend!
