How do you game college girls when you are out of college?

I used to live downtown in the city, where there were all kinds of girls mid 20s who worked and stuff. Now I live near a big college and a lot of the girls I'm meeting are either college students or graduate students (22-28 range). The answer everyone seems to have for college is "conquer your campus", but what do you do when you don't go there? How can you gain Social Status when you aren't going to the frat parties, don't see people in class, don't live in the dorms etc.

I feel like an outsider when at bars, everyone knows eachother from class or something or girls have plans to go to some party I know nothing about. It has been hard cold approaching because everyone has all kinds of friends from school and probably don't need to meet new people outside of their circle. I can still do ok, but sometimes I feel like the creepy older guy hitting on younger girls (and I'm only mid 20s).

Any advice on this kind of situation?

Yea, first stop feeling like a creepy old guy, i'm 40 and still hit on girls in there 20's.

Just go to the college with a bag so it makes you look like you still in school. I'm out of college, but still studying for the DAT so that's my in.
