This technique is named after Hollywood stud Ryan Gosling. In the film Drive, Gosling seduces several women with almost no words. After seeing this movie(which I highly recommend you do, at least watch some clips), my brother and I were curious as to how well this technique would work in the real world, applied by guys who didn't have Gosling's looks. Well gentlemen.. The Quiet Ryan plays. I've used it to close with several women already, whether it be number-closes on the subway or kiss-closes in a more private atmosphere. Here's how to do it.
1.) Make eye contact with target. Hold her stare while giving a slight grin. This grin is crucial. It's gotta be a sly, cocky half-smile, no teeth. It should say "I know you're thinking of me naked right now". At the same time it has to remain friendly and cute, not creepy. Squint your eyes a little and raise your eyebrows. If it looks natural, try to point your chin downwards slightly and look at her under your brow, maybe even cock your head a little to the side. Experiment with this in the mirror. Look to the smiles of Gosling, James Dean, Alec Baldwin and James Franco for inspiration. Keep practicing in the mirror and memorize what you have to do with the muscles in your face to achieve the perfect grin. Maintain this grin throughout the entire process.
2.) Do NOT break eye contact. If you're doing the grin right, the target will hold your stare right back. Sure, there will be shy and disinterested girls, and this technique may not be the right approach for them. But it's simple, and theres no worrying about stuttering or getting blown off. The worst she does is look away. Now, for those that stare back, you might start feeling awkward. The longer the stare continues(you can blink!) the more uncomfortable you might feel. But when you see through that you can feel the most intense and stimulating connection. And I guarantee you she is feeling the same feelings, but even stronger. Keep your grin up and convey confidence with your body language( shoulders back, occupy as much space with your limbs as possible).
3.)If it's been a minute(it will have felt like 10) then she's undoubtedly interested in you and it's time to seal the deal.
a.)If you're in a crowded club or subway and can't kiss-close, approach and hand her a pen and pad or your phone (add contact screen already up) and simply say something like "for your number". Be blunt and direct, but not cold. That's what has gotten you this far. If she makes any excuses(unlikely at this point) just turn up the grin like "You're not fooling anyone. You want this.", and wordlessly re-offer the paper/phone for her number. She'll give it you. Congrats, You just number-closed a hottie.
b.)If you're in a situation where you can kiss-close, nod your head and look towards a suitable spot to do so while saying something like "Shall we?" or "How about it?" and offer your hand to lead her. If she hesitates, turn up the grin like "You're not fooling anyone. You want this." and re-offer your hand(open it more/reach out further). She'll take it and you can take her to a sheltered spot. From there, it's just a 10 second grin-stare and then go for the kiss, saying nothing beforehand except a "Well." at most. If she pulls back (highly unlikely, she must have a boyfriend or something) then just turn up the "You're not fooling anyone" grin again, stare her in the eyes for 5 seconds and try again. You'll get it this time. Congrats, you just kiss-closed(at least) a hottie.
I know this techniques a bit different. You might be used to talking a whole lot as an aspiring PUA, and will certainly feel awkward during the long stare. Just don't show it. Keep an air of absolute calm and confidence and you will make girls melt.
Additionally, this technique is best used on women by themselves, but it works for women in sets too. The Quiet Ryan will make her forget about her friends along with the rest of the world. Try it out and you'll be amazed at how much you can communicate without speaking more than a full sentence.
