Example of a DHV?

I hear people having success with their game from using dhv's (Demonstration of Higher values). I know what the definition is but I don't know exactly how I'd use it in a conversation. Is it just pretty much telling an epic story that'll make you sound cooler? (ex. getting in a fight with the jock)

Getting into a fight with a jock is not really a dhv, although it may be to some girls. You want real cool stories. Some of my DHV stories include:

Cocktail parties with famous people.
Getting to see one of the most famous people in history in his own home.
Charity work
Travels
My published writing and the magazine that used to carry it.

You want to hit the Three Safety Switches. They are, social safety, financial safety, and physical safety. You also want to be exciting and give the girl a sense that being with you = ADVENTURE. I get a lot of girls I don't even want because they are attracted to my adventure.

A girl's social safety is piqued by the fact that I know some famous folks and I can get her into some places she would never be able to set foot in otherwise. I bring her into a "higher echelon" of sorts. A girl's financial safety is piqued when she knows what kinds of places I have worked for, that my writing is sought after enough to make a living off of it, and that I have jobs lined up for me. I pique her sense of physical safety just by being in great shape, and telling her about the passion my brother and I share for mixed martial arts. The travel stories pique her adventurous side. I love to tell girls about epic backpacking plans my brother and I have, where we'll go to a country with just backpacks, no hotels booked or anything, and wander the countryside, or about roadtrips.

If you like girls of a certain spirituality, be SURE to bring up your spiritual experiences for a DHV. I like to talk about a theology blog I write, or my church activities.

The key is to make your life legitmately interesting. It cannot be fake. Some men here really just need to work on making a cool life, which naturally attracts women. Sign up for sports, join a church, make travel plans, learn an instrument, etc. Then you will DHV by nature.

Say me and x are talking about the lakers, should I be like "oh ive met magic johnson before" or should i be like "its funny because there was a time where i went to buy tickets for the lakers game and as i went in to the Staples Center they said my tickets were counterfit" and proceed to the point that Magic Johnson helped me get court side seats (didnt really happen but pretend it did)

It has to have really happened, or else you're being an LVM - low value man. HVM never lie to women. You need to get some real life experiences, seek some real adventures, and then you have stories. All my stories are real. Plus, women can smell a lie for a mile away. Lying is for the AFC's.

But yeah. Most guys, even young ones, have experiences to draw on. Potential can make up for lack of, at times. Guys with a good earning potential, like law students and really smart guys are attractive to younger girls because they have a good potential to earn.

You have to weave dhv's into the conversation naturally too, or else it comes off as trying to impress. Also, be prepared to Meet Girls who beat you in different areas. I am going to date some girl who makes way more money than me and has been on a lot more adventures and travels than I have. When you meet girls who seem to DHV you, take a genuine interest in that. When a girl starts DHV'ing me I treat it like she's qualifying herself. Sometimes after a girl DHV's I'll say something like "that's wicked awesome, we have to get coffee sometime," as if she has impressed me so much I have to hang out with her.

Also, there are the occasional beautiful nerd girls, who will be DHV'd by knowledge of Batman or Call of Duty skills for example. You kind of need to just use intuition, and recognize that a girl who is not intrigued by you isn't for you anyway.

Great insight. If a girl dhv's us (makes more money than us, comes from a wealthy family) is there a technique or a strategy that you PUA's use so you arent "set back" or so you can seem like its not a big deal and make her think that your not just a bum? I can handle if a girl got better grades than me or she is better at pool than me or whatever but a lot of guys (me included) feel like they should be the "bread winner"and yea it would set me back if a girl i met was way better off than I was.

It doesn't bother me when a girl makes more, don't worry about it at all. A successful woman will respect you provided that you are successful at what you want to do. I date girls who make a lot more than me all the time, I make a part time salary now because I'm finishing up college, and I date girls with careers all the time.

When a girl starts to dhv treat it as if she is qualifying herself to you. If you find out she makes more on a date, you could jokingly say "good, I've been looking for a sugar mama!." You need to appreciate her higher value traits, instead of being emasculated or thrown off by them. They're not set backs, they're enhancements. You don't have to be superior to her in every way. Look at John Kerry, the guy has seduced and married 2 extremely rich women and bummed off their fortunes to win Senatorial election after Senatorial election for decades. Plus, sometimes when a girl makes more money than you, it means that financial security is irrelevant, she will be looking for other kinds of security, plus adventure, and a good sense of humor.

Actually have a life. Have friends. Being in good terms with your family is also attractive. Have a job or be somewhere where you'd end up having a job. Have other passions other than beer and girls

When you actually have things going on in your life, it's not that hard to weave those into conversations.

You can also learn a new language too. When you have another language under ur belt or some kind of exotic dance like salsa, merengue, or bachata (Spanish dances) makes you look like ur open minded. I told a chick I knew how to dance Batchata (I learned from my Hispanic friends) after she told me she liked the movie Havannah nights (the second Dirty Dancing movie) and she was dying to dance with me (by the way I had to do it to Rock music because they didn't have the appropriate music at the club) and she had a blast. Have something "exotic" under ur belt.
