Help keeping a girl interested in conversation

I new here. I am at this point in time more interested in actually turning one of he girls that i like into a GF than being a PUA. so this may be in the wrong section but the troubble I am having is talking to some girls.

I have no fear of aproaching and talking with them getting conversation started is easy for me however i seem to have a hard time keeping their attention. I seem to run out of things to say as my questions run into a dead end or something and get lost in the conversation. For example here is what happened to me today.

I went up two girls at two differint times and this is how they went.

Both times a friend was talking to them (coincidence not set up) so i went up and started talking to her about class and stuff and ignored the target for the first minuet then introduced myself to the target. Both times the girls seemed to like me as they giggled when i said or did something funny smiled when i talked to them and seemed interested. However after a little bit they didn't seem as interested and i kinda ran out of things to say and they started to talk to other friends. Would still respond well when i said something but i couldn't get something to get her to focus her attention on me for very long

Things probably went better with the first than the 2nd. The first seemed more responsive to what i said than the second but the second showed also showed signs of intrest like flipping hair, playing with ears, brushing and striating dress, and constantly smiling but was not as responsive to what i said as the other. I did playfully neg the 1st a few times (talking about how many she had was a similar pattern said she must be obsessed with it) when the conversation got dull so maybe that had something to do with.

Both showed possible interest and got one on facebook now. Not at all a failure but i would have liked to have kept their interest more and kept the conversation going on longer.

Getting a girl into you and to go out with you is a little harder than picking one up at the bar no matter how hot they are.

Most if not all surface conversations die a painful death. To keep their interest you got to go below the root structure to keep peeking their interest. To keep their interest and have them horizontal on the Sealy you have to go below the frost line in the conversation. Their interest dies out because you ran out of interest before they did.

Keep it simple. Find details about them, they will give you all the ammo you need to keep he conversation going on for hours if you want to. While this is going on you need to be putting the innuendo in the mix. It might take you a while to find your symmetry but it will come.

But you don't want that to happen, several hours long conversation leading in circles, you want them in the prone position and the only way to do that is grab them by the hand and LEAD them. They want you to be in charge and stay in charge.

True Words, Also try to study up on something she takes a liking too, if you don't know much about it, after you ask her to explain or elaborate, of course. This will give some great conversation material for you next interaction. For example, if she says she is into acting, look into some Shakespeare or other popular screenplays. If she says she likes indie or pop-rock, search around for some bands in that genre. You get the idea. In addition make sure to express what a certain idea or topic may remind you of, or how you feel about the subject, or something similar. Another good idea is to spend some of your free time learning about new things, something girls might find fascinating, in particular or try your hand at a new talent. Anything to diversify yourself really. This will add to your arsenal so to speak.
